Okay, so I love my 5200, just hate the controller. I have heard tales of rebuilt ones that have self centering joysticks. Any one have one of these to trade or know a good place to buy one?? Please!

This is the one everyone says is the best rebuilt 5200 controllers......the original Atari dealer "Best Electronics"

Yes, but it doesn't make the joystick self-centering.  Sorry Greenween, but I don't think there's any option there, except the Wico converter box, and that doesn't work with all games.

If anyone is interested and good with repairs, I have the following available:

All not functioning properly

3 2600 power supplies (2 don't power up, one has partially cut cord. 1 works, but has been cut up by the brick and electrical tape)

3 2600 joysticks (may not register some directions)

1 2600 RF cable (very fuzzy)

I picked up this light sixer awhile ago "for parts". The previous owner had installed a composite mod but there were problems with the video and controls on certain games. After researching various forums, I found that the particular issue may be related to a failing 6507 or TIA. I had some spares in the garage and thought that I might try to salvage this modded console with some of those parts. I pulled the 6507 and TIA from a rough Sears unit and voila, she's alive. The chips were socketed so it was an easy enough fix.

The console itself is in what I would consider very good cosmetic and working condition. The installed mod is from vintagegamingandmore and outputs a really nice picture. That said, I have two LHE S-video modded 7800s - a back up and a daily driver - so I don't really need this unit. I'm willing to consider trades though. Take a look at my want list and lets see if we can work something out.

Nice! I've always wanted an AV modded INTV...Atari would rock too. Are you looking for anything in particular?

Thanks, Rows. I should've linked my want list. Consolewise, I am looking for a VG condition Coleco Gemini - its what I had when I was a kid.

Need a Sega Genesis?? :)

No, but I am looking for a lot of Saturn stuff.

Just the system right now (I'd prefer to just trade the system, although for the right trade I may try to find a plug and cable for it)

I bought this from a smoker and I can still smell smoke on it when I sniff it. I also looked strange to anyone around when I sniffed it.

Hard to put a value on it since it is the rarer, expansion port model, but it has the smoke thing going.

So I'm throwing it out there to see if anyone is interested in doing a trade.

(Note: Do not physically throw systems)

You literally threw smoke on that console?

I've got a C64C that smells like cat.  Danged if that smell will ever go away.

Smoke is easier IMO.  You just need to take the thing apart and clean it very carefully/thoroughly.  For anyone who needs a 7800, this looks like a winner to me.
