I'd trade it for a working Atari console only. The previous owner had installed a composite mod but there were problems with the video and controls on certain games. After researching various forums, I found that the particular issue may be related to a failing 6507 or TIA. I had some spares in the garage and thought that I might try to salvage this modded console with some of those parts. I pulled the 6507 and TIA from a rough Sears unit and voila, she's alive. The chips were socketed so it was an easy enough fix. The console itself is in what I would consider very good cosmetic and working condition. The installed mod is from vintagegamingandmore and outputs a really nice picture. That said, I have two LHE S-video modded 7800s - a back up and a daily driver - so I don't really need this unit. I'm willing to consider trades though. I also looked strange to anyone around when I sniffed it. Hard to put a value on it since it is the rarer, expansion port model, but it has the smoke thing going. So I'm throwing it out there to see if anyone is interested in doing a trade. Smoke is easier IMO. You just need to take the thing apart and clean it very carefully/thoroughly. For anyone who needs a 7800, this looks like a winner to me.
