PSTV + PS3 Controller + TxK - NEW! for only $40!

Posting this in case some of you haven't seen it mentioned elsewhere.

I don't know what the reason is and I don't care but I couldn't be happier with the pricing now! PSTV or PlayStation TVs are being sold brand new at Wal-Mart store locations across the U.S. for $20 new without controller or $30 new with controllers which means you can get the entire system plus Jeff Minter's TxK for a whopping $9.99 totaling right at $40. Their online store prices are much higher so the unit has to be purchased in-store.

If your local Wal-Mart prices them differently when scanned, have them call a Wal-Mart in Illinois or Indianapolis to price match them. I've confirmed it myself that these are the current and correct prices as of 5-2-2016. Probably one of the best bundle deal packages ever. For those who don't know what the PSTV is, it's basically the Vita in console form so you can play it on your TV.

It may not be for everyone but if you're a Tempest fan, I think this is going to be the absolute best deal you can get for a new package to play TxK.

Yeah but you guys can get an STe for the third of the price than we can and our U.S. dollar is shit. The PSTV is incredibly small. Way smaller than I expected.

I would say we could buy and export them, the PSTV, but I assume both hindered by power supply differences and region issues OS or firmware wise. :-/

Plus i badly want to play both Killzone:Merc and TxK on Vita, but not paying through the nose for the PSTV.

I would keep an eye out. Since they've officially been discontinued from Sony, prices are bound to drop like flies! I don't see them getting much cheaper than $20 over here and if anything, can't help but wonder if they'll bounce back in price in many years to come. What's interesting is the kid in the electronics section had no idea that they even carried a PSTV or what it was or did. Once I told him you could play Vita games on it that "..it's basically a console from of the PS Vita portable for your TV"...  he just said "... that's cold!"

I've only now been able to really dedicate the time in hooking up the PSTV and giving it a go. The interface strikes me as over bubbly and very Wii-like. I suppose it does the job though. Downloaded TxK but it took forever, like it was on dial-up (it's only 107MB) so I've yet to even give it a play seeing as how it would leave me with almost 4 hours to sleep as it was already. Maybe later this weekend... =)

I still can't get over how dinky that thing is. Even the controller dwarfs it.

None at my local Walmart :(

When I first went to get mine they had about 8 and a week later I checked again and they're down to about 3 so, they're definitely selling at that price. Try calling up a few other stores? The thing is, if you don't get the bundle, getting a controller for this thing is just as, if not more expensive, than the console itself. Kind of defeats the point. PS4 controllers are $59 new and while I know it's a higher tech controller being wireless and flashing blue LED light bar and all, it's expensive. Though, still not Atari Jaguar Pro Controller expensive ;-)
