Ballblaɀer
I decided to start a thread where I could post links to things that don't really need their own thread. I picked the General forum since the links may not always be strictly Atari-related (I think most probably will be, though). First up -- I'd love to see more derivative art like this! Weird and evocative. There's a few Dig Dug covers in addition to this sweet Pengo artwork, but I'm not sure the artist ever created any others, unfortunately.http://www.gamesetwatch.com/2010/12/rob_mcbrooms_twisted_dig_dug_p.php "Rob McBroom, Pengo 5200, Acrylic, Glitter, Rhinestones & Phosphorescent Medium on Canvas, 2004-2008"
Ballblaɀer
https://www.etsy.com/listing/278895554/3d-printed-atari-2600-cartridge-storage If these were a good bit cheaper I would definitely like to have a wall of 2600 cartridges. An ingenious and pretty decent-looking storage/display solution, and one I haven't seen before.

Ballblaɀer
I posted this link in chat the other night. A collection of VFD (vacuum fluorescent display) tabletop games that also shows "screenshots". http://www.ccjvq.com/slydc/topic/vfd/vfd-database.htm If anyone ever sees a tabletop Zaxxon for a reasonable price please let me know! Rowsdower70 is also on the lookout for a Tron.

Arenafoot
OMG, they were going to make a Berzerk! LOOK at that thing! It looks like a ton of fun. Why, Coleco? WHY? Rick you can still get one of these (or any of the other "unreleased" Coleco tabletops) over at: https://www.pinterest.com/neilhenry9083/ Neil makes them out of other Coleco tabletops but of course without the VFD - he uses MAME inside, and Raspberry Pi computer model A+ connected to a 4.3 color LCD screen. They'll run you about $400-$450 each........... RickR
That's pretty cool. But you and I both know I'm too cheap to spend that kind of dough on something like that. Kid in college after all.

Ballblaɀer
OH MAN, I want one of these spectacular Voltron hockey jerseys! The design comes from Dave's Geeky Hockey, a designer who works with Geeky Jerseys -- they have lots of fun retro/gaming/other designs as well, though they're not all always available for sale. Some classic gaming genre designs from Dave:Donkey Kong Street Fighter: M. Bison Legend of Zelda / Link / Shadow Link The Last Starfighter (!) He's got many other video game related jersey designs, too. (I have zero affiliation with any of these folks BTW, but if someone wants to kick me a jersey for the free advert I certainly wouldn't send it back. )
