RickR
Not my auction, and I don't know the seller...but this is an absolute bargain for anyone that has an Atari 8-bit computer. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Atari-400-800-XL-XE-Atarimax-SIO2PC-RS232-w-Serial-Cable-and-APE-Software-CD-/201604296475? Atari 5200 Guy
That has to be old. Do PC's still have the 9-pin serial ports? The one I have uses a USB and plugs in the SIO port of the Atari 8-bit.
RickR
Yes, it is old. But it is very inexpensive. Add in a USB serial port from ebay for a couple of bucks. Works great. I myself use an old Dell laptop that does have a serial port.
Atari 5200 Guy
I have an old Dell myself with a fresh install of Window XP Black Version. I don't fire it up very often at all and I make sure I keep it offline. If I have to download anything else I make sure I do it on another machine and then use a flash drive to take it to the Dell. Still cool to see that these Atari computers are able to keep up with changing times. Now if only we could get broadband and CD-ROM drives
