It's been years since I had an NES and with my AVS coming this week it occurred to me that I need some controllers. I have a Famicom but those controllers are attached to the console. I hear the Tomy and Retro-bit controllers are a bit rubbish. The Cirka N85 gets ok reviews. Would love to hear your thoughts. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I guess that I was thinking that the new 3rd party controllers go for less than that, they're unused and not 25-30 years old. They don't feel quite as solid, but they play just fine in my opinion. And yeah, you can snag a pair for like 10-12 bucks or so! It is the exact same size as a real NES controller, and it feels the same to me. I'm guessing anything you find on Amazon that has decent reviews is going to be ok.
