I saw the upcoming games list here:

http://forums.atari....ws-as-of-41716/

Releasing Soon (actual software)

previewed at 2015 Houston ArcadeExpo - Conjoined, Laughing Boy - Jason Schelhorn/Hozer VG

Joe Grisaffi decided on AtariAge for publishing carts.  Because of the bad reputation Hozer VG has on AtariAge I would like this changed.  I messaged the topic creator on this.

Just trying to clear up some confusion.  Albert doesn't like Hozer VG.  If I'm associated with that then maybe I don't get carts that can hold the largest 2600 game ever.  So, yeah.. :)

I fixed it Jason. That list was from January and I hadn't updated it since then. Joe did show me the Hozer Video Games carts that were made for "Dead of Knight" and the poor label quality.

Oh!  yeah.  I didn't know he showed anyone that since the label was off.  He did go for AtariAge to publish the games after that.

I'm not sure if it has ever really been mentioned. But my understanding in talking with Albert from AA directly in person, is that the main beef he has with Hozer is that Hozer essentially sells homebrews of games he offers in the AA store. You might wonder...well what does that matter? My understanding is that these releases from Hozer aren't sanctioned by the original authors since those homebrew authors specifically worked out deals with AA to get royalties and such from the sale of their games through AA. However, those games sold through Hozer are essentially pirates and the original authors receive nothing.

It has also been brought up that it could be considered hypocritical given that you can also contact AA directly and have individual special carts made up of pretty much any game there is a rom image for and therefore it can easily be argued that the original authors of the prototypes that AA will put on carts, aren't getting anything for the sale of those games. So I can see both sides on this.

My only real issue with Hozer carts has been the lack luster labels that were used. Then again, it has been over 10 years since I got a cart made from Hozer and perhaps he has improved that?

I know I have both the original release of QB special edition (that was originally made by Hozer for Andrew Davies), and I have the "fixed" version that I put into a combat cart and Albert sent me a replacement label that removes Hozer's logo from the bottom corner. So...yeah... that is my understanding of the bad blood as it were between them.
