GervGirl
Hello gamers!! I am Diane. ???? I joined here a while ago but forgot and now here I am again lol ...... I grew up in the 80s and 90s, I had the Atari 2600 and C64 growing up. I think I was one of the last one of everyone I knew to get a Nintendo which at that point it was SNES. While all my friends had NES I had my C64 and now looking back I am glad I did. Anyway me and my husband are gaming collectors though I am more into the older stuff then he is. We have 5 different Atari 2600, C64, NES SNES, N64, Game Cube, Sega, PlayStation, PS2, Wii, WiiU, Different handhelds, etc. Right now I am most into collecting Atari and always looking to add. I have two daughters 13 and 3 so that has keeps us busy. ...... ok sorry for the long intro, I hope to be able to join in on chats when I can. ???? Rowsdower70
Welcome to the forums! I too had a C-64 growing up, and it was a wonderful machine. I was also a D&D nerd, so the plethora of RPGs catered to that. Nice to have you! Come chat, trade, and check out our retro junk boxes! Atari Adventure Square
Hi fellow retro gamer! Yeah, 2600 and C64 combo were hard to beat once you had 'em and got introduced to the world of Tomorrow through their pixel ports, where games became alive regardless of bit size. Although, the C64 could smile, nod and pat the spunky 2600 on the head as it breezed you into its world like an enthused toddler, with big-squared race cars or blocky avatars. It was still living proof the world would be just fine, as long as there were video games. And big brother's more mature outings (like the Infocom text adventure series, or just plain detailed graphic fun - or even EA's construction sets!) would bring it home, and who needed to spend a thousand bucks on an Apple when your disks booted titles which were just as fun. yeah, Insert Chat-Fun cart Switch On!
