Yeah, looks like as long as the first *letter* in the filename has to be upper-case.

Got one from the parents for Christmas. Oh, man, I LOVE it! And interestingly, the sound emulation plays back at too low a pitch -- much like AtGames' Sega Genesis handheld from last year. But I usually play it with the sound turned down (so far it's been during my work commutes while listening to podcasts, or in bed after the wife is asleep!) so no big deal.

And then I have a GPD-DX, which might render the Flashback Portable redundant...hmm...

But man, I'm so glad there's a 2600 portable -- especially one that doesn't limit you to just the pack-in games. It's a much more findable (and cheaper!) option than, say, the Ben Heck hacks...

In addition to the sleeve Arenafoot suggested, I also purchased a wrist strap for 80 cents.  :

Well, I received two new 128 MB SD cards, but my memory card reader on my computer has broken.  Sad.  I'm going to order a cheap-o USB card reader from Ebay.  What kind do you all use?  Any recommendations?

After working though the ROMs on the AFP (with others over at AA), I have gone thru and renamed the ROMs to the correct game titles, deleted games that do not work/can't be played, and added some homebrews - even added the hacks that have been made for the AFP!

As usual, download and unzip the file, put the ROMs in the first folder named "Game" on the SD card. It should load into your AFP with 67 pages (about 667 games in total).

Let me know what ya'll think ......any changes?

Enjoy!

I'm using a SanDisk 2GB SD card (non-HC) class 2, with no problems. I still have about 1.7GB of music on it with the AFP ROMs loaded on it too.

I'm an authorized editor for that Google Doc........ and list owner of this one: https://1drv.ms/x/s!...VbQayev1Wc1QprN

Those are just lists - not a bulk ROM download like I have above. I'm trying to do a better (and updated) ROM bulk download for the AFP than the only one we have which is here: http://atariage.com/...atibility-list/

I ordered this Sony PS Vita hard case from Amazon - https://www.amazon.c...0?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It's cheaper than the other one I have posted earlier in this thread. It is a little bigger than the AFP but serves its purpose. Thinking about using some electrical tape over the Vita logo and ordering one of these to put over it:

I'm still loving this thing, play it everyday! The homebrews and fixed for the portable roms just keep making it better!
