Thought I'd start a thread on good deals available at retail stores to share with the group.

This first one is at Bed, Bath, and Beyond (in the "Beyond" section :))  As after-Christmas sales, they have the mini-arcade LCD arcade games 30% off...$13.99 AND you can use a 20% off coupon for an additional $2.80 off (final price = $11.19)  I already had the Pac Man, so I bought the Space Invaders.

They also have the Mattel Electronics repro handheld games.  These versions have special sound effects.  They are 50% off...$7.49, and use a 20% off coupon for an additional $1.50 off (final price = $5.99).  I got football as a gift, so I bought basketball and baseball.

Just a note on the Mattel Electronics repros -- they really ramped up the difficulty on the games...and that's a good thing.  They are a lot of fun.  You'll know the controls, but you'll need to change your old strategies to get good on these things.

Not sure if anyone is a guitar hero fan in here, but i got this for $5 at walmart. The manager told me they were gonna get marked down soon. I asked when? He said "ehh go ahead and take it now"

They have it for all the systems

I'll post pics later, but I managed to snag a text label copy of Indy 500 and two driving controllers from Disc Traders last night for 7 bucks! I've been looking for a set for 10 bucks or under, but the going rate on eBay seems to be 20 dollars or so. I had this game as a kid and I loved it! Very happy to have it back in my collection.

Also got a copy of Venture for Intellivision for 2 bucks!

Edit: Pics as promised!

GREAT deals right there.

They have another one at their other store where I got the driving controllers, boxed Intellivoice with loose copies and overlays of B17, Bomb Squad, and Space Spartans for 25. Almost went for that one but I'm glad I didn't. I've got overlays from my Flashback I can use so I'm set there, and I'm not a boxed collector so that wasn't a big deal. I'm sure I'll snag a copy of Space Spartans at some point for cheap.

Also never gets old hearing "B-17 Balmber" in that robot voice... something about having it on original hardware makes it more special!

2 cents?  How is that even possible?  The Walmarts here have ridiculous clearance prices.  Like a 4 megabyte (yes MEGA) SD card for $20 (original price $25).

I got Cities: Skylines at Wal-Mart for a ridiculously low price. I wish I had the box handy to see what it was. I think it was as low as $0.96.

My walmart always seems to have something for 2 cents in the electronics section. Most of the time its just a old phone case, but last time i found a Disney infinity captain hook figure for 2 cents

Got all of this for 14.50 at a local game shop last night... they normally sell Atari games for 2 bucks each when they have them, and with a discount card I get an additional 25% off.
