This is one system that have always been tempted by.

Yes me as well! Regret not biting back when I was still actively collecting. Considering I really only cared about gaming on Atari systems seems like the perfect console. But I rarely ever seen them available for decent price (to get to Canada including shipping) and honestly don't think I have ever seen one in person. Just something about it, the funky pastel colors lol.

These are really nice, but I would highly recommend an Atari 800XL instead.  The 800XL is essentially the same (minus the built-in Missile Command game), but is of much higher build quality.  Plus easier to find and less expensive.

I have an 800XL as well as a...is it 130 XE? Been a while I have to check. I just always wanted one of these because they are so funky.

I have one with the keyboard, but I've never been able to get it to work. Maybe Willie can help me...   :)

You'll have to tell us what it does when you turn it on.  If it came with the "ingot" style power brick, most likely that's gone bad.  In fact, watching the video above, I guessed it was the power brick that was broken the second it came up on screen.

Anyways, the much more safe styles of Atari power supplies are available on-line for decent prices.  Best sells them, and I've also seen them on Ebay for $10-15.
