Every great adventure has to start somewhere. Those of you who purchased/owned an Atari when they were new, where did they come from? Vote in the poll and tell us!

There used to be a chain of stores here in the NW called "GI Joes".  That first 2600 come from GI Joes.

My first Commodore computer came from Montgomery Wards, and my first Atari computer was from Sears.  Good memories.

I'll never know, but I have a boxed 5200 that has sales receipts from JCPenney. My NES came from K•B Toys, as did my SNES.

My 800xl and 1050 came from a store called Clover. I think it was a division of Strawbidges and clothier.

Bought my 7800 for $79.99 at Toys R Us, most likely in 87.

Mine was a gift, but if I had to guess, it came from a regional department store here in the northeast called Caldor.
