Argg. This game has one of the hardest second levels in the history of games. Each jump has to be perfect and you don't even have a jump button. There were a few times I walked right over the edge of a ledge. I actually find the third level easier than the second.

Oh well. After several tries, here's my best game.

Just tried it again. About the second level being one of the hardest second levels in gaming,

well, the results are in and it turns out it is....

Lol, naturally most of what we discuss in the retro community is based on opinions. But that's also what makes being a part of the community so fun!

I second this, the second level sucks and I hate the fact you don't have a jump button. I came in at 100 below Dauber at 6100; no pics yet because I honestly feel like I can get a better score if I can grit my teeth and play enough. I'll probably play a few more rounds to see how high I can get, but give me 2600 DK any day of the week over this game. At least that game has a jump button!

And what does the bell do?  I read the manual, but I must be blind.  Saw no mention of it.

Ringing the bell gets no points, but it replaces any missing fruit with more valuable fruit. There are four fruits with pineapples being the last and most valuable. Any fruit on the screen when the bell rings do not get replaced, so it's possible to have different kinds of fruit on screen at the same time.
