Nintendo WII U 8gb or 32gb? Does it matter?

So after going to a friend's house the other day and playing the latest smash bros (for the first time ever) im sold. I am getting me a WII U.

I found a complete in box one on Craigslist for a good deal, but its a 8 gb one. My question is does it really matter on the storage size?

I do know that it takes alot of space to download the games from the Nintendo shop, but im planning on buying the physical copies of the games so i dont think that matters.

Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Sorry I am quite ignorant regarding the WiiU but I did find THIS article that seems like it may be of some help I hope!

So what do yall think is this a good deal?

Considering its 100 bucks cheaper than just the console from Gamestop, it seems good to me.

Glad someone pointed out the external storage option too; I have the 32GB model, but I needed additional storage, so I got a 32GB thumbdrive on the cheap and its working great.

A lot of people ripped on this console or passed it up, but it was worth every penny we spent on it. Definitely got our money's worth. I would say the same thing about the Switch as well, its been great so far.

Well update. He said he was too busy and he didnt have enough free time so he told me thanks for your time and deleted the Craigslist post.

WTF? Well keep an eye out, at least you know what you want now so just be patient I bet a good deal will come at some point.

Sorry that the deal didn't go through. When you do have another one, I'm just going to say that it really doesn't matter, because either way you're going to have to get an external hard drive (a lot of data gets written locally, even with physical games). I haven't bought a huge amount of games for it (mostly the older Virtual Console games and a few Wii downloads that were on sale, like the Metroid Prime Trilogy), but I'm using a 500GB Western Digital drive and it's around halfway full. Please note that you'll probably need to get a USB Y adapter so that you get enough power out of the Wii U's USB ports to reliably run the drive (apparently, unless the drive is powered, trying to run it from one runs the risk of corrupting data).
