It was rather rare to see Atari hardware on UK Games TV coverage, so here's a little gem:

The Falcon, which it's made clear wasn't cutting it as games machine, just for serious user and the Jaguar console.

It was interesting to hear F.F.L compared NOT to Tekken/Virtua Fighter etc but the SNES SFX Chip powered FX Fighter.

Rayman, again hardware compared to what 16 bit consoles could do.

And Super Burnout (simply Burnout at this point) praised.

The shown FfL looks much better than the final game. It's more colourful and faster. I have heard, that the programmer had delivered an unfinished version to Atari, because they were unwilling to pay their bills. Could that be right?

In Germany we only could dream of such tv-shows. Our shows were a pain in the ass. They were made by people, who hadn't the slightest idea about games and the game industry.

I've heard the claims about a superior version of Fight For Life, but never really looked that deep into them myself as i never owned the game, nor really went for the genre, despite owningf Tekken, Tekken 2 (too slow on Pal machines), Toh Shin Den on PS1, VF2 on Saturn etc...

Whilst i do have an interest in  1 more Lost Jaguar title, FFL isn't it :)

UK Games Shows? we also had Gamesmaster (The best), Sky One's Gamesworld (a wannabe), Bits etc etc...

Sounds like we came off better than Germany.
