Beef Drop : : September 16th - 30th

Objective: Play for the highest possible score using the difficulty settings defined in the challenge. Post a photo or video of your score in this thread. Scores must be achieved between September 16th through September 30th, 2017. Screen captures are not allowed as they are easily manipulated for falsified scores. Multiple submissions are permitted. The player with the highest score at the end of the 1-month competition will be crowned the victor!

Eligibility: Anyone can join in. All players are welcome!

Play Rules: Games may be played on real hardware or emulation, using any controller or keyboard, following rules and game settings as delineated in the Squad Challenge. BOTH Beef Drop and Beef Drop VE versions of this game ARE allowed. Enhancements and hacked versions of this game are not allowed.

Difficulty Level: Normal

Fair Play: Players should play fairly, be honest, and have fun! Falsified scores will result in your immediate removal from the site. It goes without saying that no use of cheats, hacks, cartridge frying, enhancements, Photoshop, subterfuge, or any other unfair advantage is allowed. Everybody hates a cheater.

More: To review detailed rules on how to play, please visit the High Score Squad page here: http://forums.atari.io/index.php/topic/1219-high-score-squad-how-to-play/

A Word about Ken: We're dedicating the month of September to the memory of homebrew artist Ken Siders. In celebration of Ken's life and work, we will be hosting two High Score Squad Challenges during the month of September. What better way to celebrate Ken than to play and appreciate what he left behind? The first Squad Challenge is for b*nQ and will run through September 15th. The second Squad Challenge will be for Beef Drop and will run from September 16th through September 30th.

Special Thanks: A very special thank you is in order to atarilbc for making this happen. Thank you atarilbc for your help!

Unfortunately, I have no luck running this ROM with EMU7800. I've tried several ways and the emulator can not recognize this game.

I've been using v1.8 on Windows 10 and have had the same trouble.

For windows 10, go to the "Store" app and search for emu7800.  Install that one (it does not seem to have a version number).  That one works with these files and also does 2600 games.  It is free.

Arena, I don't know if Win 7 also supports the "store" app.  But I think that's the only way to get that newer version that works.
