Wait...would there even BE a Nintendo today?  The only reason they sold the NES in the US was because the competition was all gone.

Well, this is also predicating that there would be no crash in '83. Although, with Apple money, Atari would have had more cash to throw around, so possibly they could've staved off the crazy third party scene.
