Hey guys, episode 120 is now up, featuring Tunnel Runner and Omega Race. Be sure to check out the No Swear Gamer's videos on both of these games as well. I was very jealous of his Omega Race box. :)

Hi all, episode 121 is now available. It features Tutankham and Sky Skipper by Parker Brothers. Also be sure to check out Phil's video for Tutankham, Phil always does such a great job on his Youtube channel.

Hi there, I recently did a special episode about my top 10 go-to games when I turn on the 2600. You can thank Mr. Storm Surge for that! :)  I will be doing more top 10s in the future, I have a lot of topics I can do for that.

In the episode I also explain the summer episode schedule, which is basically no schedule at all. I have quite a few projects around the house that I want to complete, and I will also be taking a couple of weeks of vacation instead of nickel and diming it. That means the shows will come out when they come out, basically. You may hear more top 10 episodes this summer, especially if there's a long stretch where I don't have a regular episode done. I didn't want to take the whole summer off, because it would be hard or impossible to pick back up in the fall. I know how I operate. :)

As always, thank you so much for listening and for your support.

There's also a short episode in the feed about my trip to Too Many Games in PA. Thanks for listening everyone.

That was a very nice email from Brice, about mid-way through the podcast. So nice to know that so many great Atari gamers are out there. Thank you Brice for becoming an Atari I/O Member and thank you Ferg for speaking so highly of us on the podcast. It's incredibly encouraging.

Funny that Chess-King came up on the podcast, I was just talking about that store last night. We were watching Fast Times at Ridgemont High, started talking about Florsheim Shoes and all of the other stores that used to be in every mall in America and all seem to be gone now.

Ugh, I am so bad at this. I didn't realize this post was stickied, thanks to Justin (?) for doing that, I am honored!

Some recent highlights:

I talked with Mike Montana, son of Glib programmer Rich Montana, for the Glib episode. It was great talking with him, and I found out he works in the same town in which I grew up! Small world. :)

I also spoke with Joe Grand, who created the wonderful homebrew game SCSIside. He has done so many cool things that we talked about on the show. I had a great time talking with him as well.

I am currently running a contest to win an Atari 2600 Jr. with a bunch of games. If you'd like to enter, you can listen to this short episode to find out how.

Finally, I am taking a bit of a break from regular 2600 episodes. I am burnt out, and doing the podcast is more work than fun. I want to talk about other things to get me back to a good place with the 2600 stuff, so I have started what I'm calling Bonus Tracks, which will be sporadic episodes about random non-2600 stuff. I posted the first one today, which is about when I was a paperboy in the 80s.

Thank you for listening!

I finally had a listen to the Atari 2600 Game By Game podcast today. I know @HDN is a big fan. I listened to the latest episode 194, and it contained emails from I/O’s very own Harry. Thanks for raising our collective attention to this podcast. It was produced almost like an old school radio show and felt very different than the typical podcast with a panel of hosts.
