A WEEKEND OF FUN AND FREE PLAY!
The Houston Area Arcade Group (HAAG) is holding their 14th Annual Arcade Expo on November 13th & 14th at the Houston Northwest Crowne Plaza at Pinemont and Hwy 290.
There will be over 200 classic and current coin-op pinball machines, video arcade games, penny arcades, and console video games ready for attendees to play on free play or buy them for their home.
There will be Tournaments, events, music and workshops to keep the young and young at heart entertained.

 

$15/day preorder ($20/day at the door)
$25/weekend pass preorder ($30/weekend pass at the door)

Joe Balcer
Famed pinball Designer Joe Balcer has designed some killer machines including Wizard of Oz, Simpsons Pinball Party, Star Ship Troopers, Star Wars Trilogy and many more. Super cool guy and he likes Cigars!

 

Walter Day
is considered the Patron Saint of the Video Game Age and is the founder of Twin Galaxies

 

Andrew Seklir
an avid game fan and director of hit arcade documentary Man vs Snake, he has also worked on TV shows such as Battle-star Galactica, Westworld, Eureka and other show for the SyFy Channel. He is also a member of the Directors Guild of America.

 

Joel West
one of the legends of the “Golden Age of Arcades” who pioneered the birth of competitive gaming.

Entire Cast of Pinballers talk about their pinball reality TV show experience and what is the future of pinball collecting.

 

Brett Weiss
A gamer since 1974 and a professional writer since 1997, Brett will do a Q&A session on his game related books with help from Walter Day and will also be selling video game cartridges, discs, T-shirts, and related items.

 

Karl Kuhlenschmidt
Started collecting around 1999 and finding machines in need of restoration. Providing trick and tips on what i use to restore broken worn down machines. Providing info on where you can get materials need to bring you machine back to life.

 

Dan Ferguson
Founder of the Lone Star Pinball Museum, Dan has one of the largest collections of pre-DMD pinball’s in the USA. Dan had consulted on many pinball book’s, and pictures of his machines have help chronolog the history of pinball.

 

Joe Grisaffi
is an actor, filmmaker and video game collector from Houston. Joe will be presenting his film Conjoined and showing the Atari 2600 game based on the movie.

 

Patrick Scott Patterson
PSP is a video game advocate seen in numerous films and events across the country. His newest projects include heading up the Video Game Media Archive and a reboot of the U.S. National Video Game Team.

 

Darrell Spice Jr.
of SpiceWare, Home Brew Programmer and visionary is responsible for the excellent remake of Atari’s 2600 ‘Warlords’ known as ‘Medieval Mayhem’, the VCS game ‘Stay Frosty’ and ported the popular Stella emulator to the OS/2.
