  2. I just got back from a trip to Houston, and my airbnb had this relic of a microwave!  It still worked fine, and made a satisfying "ding" when it was done heating.

  17. Getting out alive. I think some married people try to do that on a daily basis
  18. Changing the 6532 (RIOT) was the last step to do if nothing else helped. Chances are those other components were probably shot as well. Modding the system seemed to have removed whatever short was going on to cause the buzzing. OK. Do tell...how did your brother like the system games? Pics. Gotta remember pics LOL. We all love to see this sort of stuff. Oh well, no matter. It's fixed and in a new home now. At least it didn't go to a landfill.
  19. Apparently Nintendo is filming a commercial on Saturday in our building. Maybe this is my chance to be discovered?  Too obvious if I come decked out in a Zelda t-shirt? 😂

I could photobomb the shoot in a SEGA t-shirt. 😆😆😆

  20. 6700. This time I can't blame the controller (I found another one). I just suck.
  21. Update: Late in coming, but I composite modded the above Atari 2600 Vader board and now it has perfect video and audio! Gifted the system to my brother for his birthday with a selection of great games! ~ Trellot
  22. For me? "Crystal Castles." It involves someone different (Bentley Bear), trying to face his darkest fears (Berthilda the Witch and her evil cronies), and triumph over adversity (getting out alive). It also involves finding fortune (collecting the gems in all 37 castles). It suits me to a T. I have been faced with that stuff all of my life. I think I just made a great analogy. Thanks. 🤣
  23. Thanks for the heads up! Between the new school semester and work, I did not see it, but I will check it out now.
  24. I sold a TI 99/4a computer to RockyRaccoon, and it all went well. Good communication and a nice guy to deal with. Thanks!
  25. This is a year of celebrations with the Dreamcast turning 20, Lynx turning 30 and the Intellivision turning 40!
