He won the 1st round, I won the 2nd, and he clenched it with the 3rd. Kamakazi won best of 3. This was actually a lot of fun! I know he felt the same. We'll be doing this again soon. Good game Kamakazi!

    PRGE 2020 Cancelled

This announcement was posted today on the PRGE web page. Sad news but a decision I can certainly understand. I do hope, however, that the virus has been controlled by the date the event was planned. PRGE 2020 is cancelled It is with a heavy heart that we must announce that the 2020 Portland Retro Gaming Expo is cancelled due to the uncertainties associated with the Coronavirus pandemic. It was a very tough decision and was not made lightly. This is the first time in 15 years that we have ever even considered not having the event. Our concern is that we can't provide the same high-quality show while protecting our attendees and speakers. Specific challenges include: [li]We are a 100% non-profit, volunteer-run organization and do not have the resources to accommodate pandemic-related changes to our existing show management process.[/li] [li]Recruiting enough volunteers to staff the event is a challenge due to anxiety over the pandemic.[/li] [li]Many of our arcade and pinball game partners are justifiably unable to volunteer games due to anxiety over the pandemic.[/li] [li]There is public apprehension about being in crowded spaces and it's not clear that this concern will be reduced by August. Even a moderate reduction in attendance would put our event at financial risk for the future.[/li] http://retrogamingexpo.com/

Squad Challenge - Go Fish! (Atari 2600)

The file that Justin posted in the original post does not work on my Harmony cart. But I found three versions of the same game already on my harmony. They are shown below. I chose the "extended" version, which I assume is newest based on the timestamp. Should we disqualify my score? I can use the Justin bin file on Stella instead. Which file are you all using? The Justin version only shows 2 downloads.

    Wal-Mart Supercenters Closing

These are the kind of changes we're going to have to be flexible with over the coming weeks. Stores also need to actively clean and sanitize their stores every night. They also have employees who are now working in crazy conditions who also have families they want to get home to. I don't think most stores are closing or changing hours because they want to make things more difficult for people. Life is hard.

    Wal-Mart Supercenters Closing

Supermarkets and shops in Miami are opening early so the elderly can go shop before everyone else does. Then they are open at 9 am for everyone else. Everything seems to be closing at about 8 pm, though.

    Sealed Jaguars on Ebay

On second thought...it's not too bad a price -- it's only $1 per "Where did YOU learn to fly?" on a game of Cybermorph.

πŸ™Bleh, well we wont be going on two tours / trips that were planned this year. May was "Four themed Towns" and December was THANKSGIVING ON THE OREGON COAST, both with Wells Gray Tours. Regardless of what happens at this point even IF the Dec trip would have been a possibility it is more sensible for us to just call 2020 a NO TRAVEL year. We are not young and healthy, we have diabetes (compromised immunity) as well as mild Asthma so taking the chance on any travel in 2020 is a gamble we are not willing to take. We work hard to try and maintain the health we have so a week of fun is not worth the risk. The time frame for a vaccine to be created, tested and the rest of the outbreak to be contained / controlled means 2020 is a write off travel wise. Ah well, we now return you to your regularly scheduled program.
