  1. Sad news. May he rest in peace.
  2. I will be able to...just not yet. Waiting for the game to arrive and I doubt it'll be here before May 31st. No worries, I will submit it later.
  3. I have those Atari Age magazines as well and Atarian. I've kept those through the years. They are not in the best of shape because I was a subscriber and the PO just did not handle them very well.
  4. Cool, will be having a listen.
  5. I only kept a few of those old magazines. Nowadays I try to get everything video game related in electronic format.
  6. Even the cover is in living color.
  7. LOL Now that you say that, I agree! Spooky Monster!
  8. Wow, the weather? That is really sad that because of weather issues this year the event may not happen again.
  9. Wait, Midwest Gaming Classic might not happen? But wasn't this year's event the largest ever?
  10. I haven't seen it yet. It's on my Watch Later list.
  11. Damn, the Goodwills in Miami never have stuff like that!
  12. I do not have one of these but I've heard of them and I know they are really nice flashcarts.
  13. HDMI is a nice feature on these. I didn't realize they had added that functionality.
  14. I remember discovering it by accident back then and just doing it all the time. Heck, I even tried with other games to see what would happen!
  15. I have actually heard of that before but I've never seen one, even in gaming museums. Looks like something that could be 3D printed nowadays.
  16. I don't see much 5200 either but the Jaguar and the Lynx do make more of an appearance as there are other products with their branding being sold. For example, you'll easily find folks selling t-shirts and posters related to both consoles. There's a vendor in PRGE who makes these t-shirts that have shiny printing that looks really cool.
  17. Looks like my copy of the book should be arriving by Saturday.
  18. Yep, very true. It seems that's the Nintendo consoles that you see the most of at all these events. Followed by Xbox and PlayStation games for the original systems. While you do see Atari and Intellivision systems and games, they are just a fraction of the games and systems represented.
  19. Really cool! Congrats to the participants!
  20. Awesome! Will be ordering shortly.
  21. I think the most 7800 I saw was at PRGE in 2016 because the guys from GCC were there and talked all the stuff that was planned for the console when it was meant to be launched. The console would have been a game changer at the time if things had gone that way. I do agree that the Atari Age booth is probably where you see most of the 7800 action and that's because of the consoles there to play.
