True. The Vectrex clearly suffered from coming out at the wrong time (just before the crash), but it’s interesting that no one since, has taken another shot at releasing a vector home console. Of course, now that CRTs are a thing of the past, we’ll never see one.
I’d love to know how many were produced and how many remain in working condition today.

Hmm, I don't believe so.  I would have looked in Atari Age but all their ROMs have been removed.

Yeah...we could let some time pass and ask again. Maybe he could team up with John and have Champ Games publish it.

I'll try to port it to other services, thats a hassle - im sorry.. i know you can just listen online for free if you make an acct on the web through a browser on your phone or computer, i'll look into podcast republic and apple, google as well

You really need a backup Vectrex for your other back Vectrex. And a backup for those other Vectrex too.
 

Define "Vectrex in great condition" with more granular adjectives.  %!#$&ing "Great condition" and "Mint" are so misued. 

He even had said it would be an easy game to make!  Making the whole situation even more frustrating.

I had asked Bob to make one for the 7800 and he was open to the idea but with the changes now, I doubt it'll happen.

They sure did!  I was not aware that they had developed Phoenix for the 2600, the one and only port of the game to home systems.  Interesting that they would make the game as best they could and then scale it back based on resources of the system.  I bet a 16K version of Phoenix to the 2600 would have been even more impressive.  I also liked how they thought about it when making games.  "Let's capture the arcade experience and make it as close as possible."  Very different from the idea Atari had when they developed the original port of Pac-Man.  History would have been so different had these guys kept on developing games for the 7800 in 1984!  I hope the next video covers the story of the 7800 and what they had originally planned for the system!
