About Me
I am currently collecting for the Atari 2600/7800/Intellivision and enjoy the homebrews that are emerging, although it can be quite an expensive hobby. My favorite arcade game growing up was Defender and I was fascinated by Asteroids. The Atari 2600 conversions did not do them justice, but I understand there were serious hardware limitations and I still played them to death. I am a big fan the 2600 game Adventure. This is probably the only game I discovered the Easter egg for without any help or prior knowledge of its existence.
I am a big Commodore 64/128 fan. Enjoyed "Dr. J vs. Larry bird - One on One", "Below the Root", "Alice in Wonderland", "Archon" as well as many others on the C64. I have only recently discovered the Win-Vice emulator (I know, where have I been?) and highly recommend it for Commodore emulation. I also played the first four Ultima games of the Ultima series. I have the Ultima collection, which includes the games up to Ultima 8, installed using the Dosbox emulator.
I also enjoy programming on the Commodore 64, and recently, February 25th, 2017, I released my first game, "GPAC Dementia Defender", which is a sort of an homage to Pac-Man as it is a Pac-Man clone. I mostly enjoy gaming on the older vintage systems where your imagination runs supreme.
