I will try to make it Monday morning after work. I can't do Saturday or Sunday, unfortunately. I can't wait to try the new version of this!

@fergojisan said he was skipping his picks "this time". Is it possible he'll want to use his later picks? Just want to make sure he doesn't get accidentally skipped.
It's okay, I was just skipping those picks but I won't be able to keep up with you young whippersnappers this weekend 🤣 Please keep me off the list, I have too many games as it is. Have fun with the picks, thanks to Matt for doing this!

Yes, both of them this time.

Sorry guys, the notifications were going to the wrong email. I got what I needed, so I will pass, I guess I get 2 picks this time.

Great! I have been so backed up on podcasts because of vacation that I just got to Alien Crush. I thought this was a really fast turnaround but it's been a month.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to listening, I love baseball games!

The other consoles that I know of that had built-in games:
- Bally Astrocade - had gunfight/checkmate/calculator/doodler
- Atari XEGS - had Missile Command built in.
Any others?
The SMS II had Alex Kidd in Miracle World built in.
It's been said the Power Base converter has no electronics...it simply reroutes cartridge connections. I took mine apart to clean it decades ago but don't remember what was inside.
There's not much in there, I used a dremel to cut away a lot of it to fit in my Genesis 2.

I think these are called cornice signs, if I remember my KayBee terminology. Are these yours, or did you take these photos at the store? I went into a TrU when they were dismantling this section to make what I guess was the R Zone, and they let me take a few of them.
Awesome thread!

I second everything Phil said. I think not cursing (even though I curse like a sailor in real life) has helped me get more audience.
And every other week is a great idea. I know a lot of podcasters say to stick to a schedule, but I have a hard time doing that. Just do the best you can and you'll grow your audience, they will wait for you.

YESSSSSSS!!!
Don't worry too much about editing, except for long stretches of silence or stray mouth noises. And break up the talking with sounds from the game, commercials, whatever.
I'm very excited about this, best of luck to you! Let me know when you're ready and I will promote the hell out of it on my show.

Atari is endlessly fascinating. Thanks so much for posting these Rob! I'm glad that someone with preservation instincts got a hold of these.

Hi guys, I host the Atari 2600 GBG podcast (why did I pick such a long title). Normally I try to solicit feedback for homebrew games in the forums, but I totally forgot in this instance (it's been a busy summer so far). Have you played Space Raid by Oscar Toledo Gutierrez? It's basically a port of Zaxxon that actually plays in mock 3D 3/4 view or whatever it is. You can find it here: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/217250-space-raid-2600
Also here: http://www.nanochess.org/space_raid.html
I'll be recording the episode about 7 hours after this is posted. Thanks in advance for your feedback!

Oh. OK. I am glad of that fact. "Ataribox" sounds tacky to me anyway.
Not as bad as the CatBox for the Jaguar.

Again, I am horrible at remembering to post here (let alone my own forum). But episode 139 is now out, featuring Survival Run and the Cosmic Commander controller by Milton Bradley. Thank you for listening.
