    Your first car

I thought it would be cool if we could post photos and share stories of our first car My first car was AMC Eagle 4 x 4 station wagon. I think it was a 1986 model. AMC owned Jeep then and put a Jeep powertrain in an older AMC Sportabout wagon design. It had lots of power, room for all your gear, drove like a car and it could plow through mud and snow like a Jeep. My friends and I would take this on camping trips and tailgates and had lots of good times at a drive in movie theater that was still around back then. I can't find a picture of it right this sec but here's what it looked like in the brochure:
  3. What do you get when you cross a karate expert with a pig?

  4. I've never used a Supercharger but I always liked the idea of it. And that you could get those CD/MP3 compilations. I thought the games looked closer to the NES or at least Coleco than some of the regular 2600 games that were out at that time.
  5. I would love to see replacement labels for Activision games and definitely nice looking labels for 5200 carts. This looks like great work!
  6. Atari ST is definitely under appreciated! It had a lot of Mac features for a fraction of the price. That's why they called it a Jackintosh!
  7. Myst was the reason I bought a Jaguar CD. People like to hate on that system, compare it to a toilet, whatever. If you played Myst on the Jaguar when it was first released you knew it was the best version of Myst you could get your grubby hands on. The Jag Bar is awesome btbfilms76, keep it coming!
  8. The milk man, the paperboy, the evening TV!

How about Nintendo and Sony with the PlayStation SNES CD add on?
  17. Well, I googled that address and I'm starting to wonder how just how deep this rabbit hole goes. The first search result that came up for me when I googled the page brought me here: http://www.welivesecurity.com/2011/11/09/facebook-likes-and-cold-call-scams/ It's a webpage that exposes scams and fraud, and from the sounds of it there's been a lot of scams coming out of that address. One of the paragraphs said this: eFIX’s web page lists an office in Glasgow under the name eFIX Ltd, at 8901 Marmora Road, Glasgow, D04 89GR. However, a search at Companies House, while it did turn up several entries with somewhat similar names, didn’t find one in Glasgow, and the address doesn’t ring true. The postcode is a fake, and we can’t find a Marmora road in Glasgow (let alone one long enough to hold nearly 9000 street addresses). In fact, the same address turns up in a great many other contexts (design consultancies, music, accountancy, even a buffet service), suggesting the use of some kind of template/boilerplate. It also suggests that it’s not only PC support companies that are suspiciously shy about their real whereabouts. Or else 8901 must be an awfully big building. Of course, it could be an accommodation address for multiple businesses, but that doesn’t explain why the street address itself is so elusive
  18. Woops my bad that was a typo.... I fixed it above, here's the link: http://www.atarigames.co.uk
  19. This is a weird website. It looks like a corporate website for "Atari's" European office but it makes no sense to me. They don't have any games, they are using different branding, it doesn't look for feel like the "Atari" that's around today. They talk a lot about building apps for putting you to sleep I'm not even kidding. I get the feeling this is some other crappy little company that licensed the Atari name to use to peddle their wares. Anybody know any better? Their website: http://www.atarigames.co.uk
  20. Looking forward to episode 2 of the second season tonight
