  1. OK subscibed lol! Saw the thumbnail this guy singing, Richard Marx, did NOT expect it to be so close, they don't just cover a song, they embody it! Always great to discover a great cover band!

The Atari Jaguar is a cartridge based console from the early to mid nineties that failed in the videogame market. It contended with consoles like the SNES, and Genesis first but eventually went toe to toe with the 3DO and even the Sony Playstation and Sega Saturn, but it didn't fair well against most of them. All in all, it is speculated that less than 150,000 Atari Jaguars were sold, and it marked the end of Atari in the console market for a very, very long time. It can be had from places like eBay today for quite a bit of money, but is it worth picking up? And why does it cost so much to begin with? Are the games hidden gems? Let's watch and find out!

Great overview, Rob 🙂 and I totally agree with you.

I have 2 of these old iPhone6's pulled out of electronic recycling, kidding aside I use one with an app as a TouchPad on my desktop, it works amazing, as well as any laptop touchpad. Everyone knows I like to tinker and repurpose tech and obviously, I am into old tech as a hobby. Still, there comes a point where for use as a daily driver a device has diminishing returns if you continue to invest in it, when even low to midrange current models run circles around even something high-end from 10 years ago it's time to rethink it's value in the current year.

  4. Towers II: Enhanced Stargazer Edition is here for the Atari Jaguar! The RPG was released for the Jaguar in late 1996 and rereleased in 2023 with double the ROM size and massive quality of life upgrades.

This one is really dumb, but I want to ask if anyone knows what the heck is going on with that right crock on the floor.

It is simply just a case of a defect in the image. With AI generated you have some type of deformity or error in the images, early on it was really bad with displaying peoples hands, often displaying too many fingers or twisted fingers, or just looking unnatural, also text is typically indecipherable, or just odd out of place. Of course, it’s getting better at an alarming rate, but still stand outs, and there is a sign other than the obvious that it is in fact AI generated, in this case it would be the odd shape of the one shoe.

  6. Loom… If the name sounds familiar, then you probably were a kid or a teenager in the 80s, just like me.
If you played this game not long after it came out, as I did in 1991, then you can understand the kind of enchantment it was back then.
Loom wasn’t really groundbreaking. It didn’t bring any major change to the gaming scene. But it perfected an existing genre: it brought the graphical adventure to a new level of maturity. You could expect no less from Lucasfilm Games, and this project led by Brian Moriarty was a masterpiece of its own.
Loom has superior graphics, soundtrack, and an ironclad scenario. It also adds a little touch of its own to the point & click adventure games, with a unique user interface based on musical notes.
All these aspects put together make Loom an outstanding game despite its few drawbacks, the main one being its simplicity level. So let’s dive deeper into this mysterious and enchanting universe.

ZERO footage from emulators was used to make this video!
Only the actual CRT screen pixels are shown!
    Enjoy 🙂
