Yesterday I got a couple of nice surprises in the mail. Thanks so much to @Sabertooth and to Pixel Games. I just want to know how you coordinated them both to arrive on the same day 😃.

Question for everyone: Which controller are you using? I've been using the modern, but davpa uses the classic. It looks to be more precise in aiming. I think I might give that a try.
I use the Classic. It definitely helps with precise aiming in my opinion.

I wanted to mention that davpa from Atari livestreamed his run at the Gravitar high score yesterday:
https://www.twitch.tv/atari_vcs
He said he will probably play it again today. Yesterday he started streaming around 3:30 EST. Actually, just saw in the Discord that he plans to start at 5PM EST. Please go distract him so he doesn't best my score 😃. -

I have to admit this is one of my personally least favorite Recharged games, although the game itself is high quality. I find the repetitiveness and pace of the game to be...slow, and the difficulty walls frustrating. I'll give it a shot though for the competition!
I feel I really need to be in the mood to play because it is such a slow, methodical game that takes a lot of patience and takes time to get to later levels. But I suppose the original arcade is very similar in that respect. But the arcade game is so tough I never last very long!
I think I prefer Thrustlander because of the huge number of levels and you can continue from your furthest point. But I think Gravitar is really well done and is a solid game.

I have always wondered about the Atari STylus. I have never read of any hands-on accounts of using this device. I would be interested to hear how good the handwriting recognition was and what the decision-making process was in killing the device. I would like to hear more about the inner-workings of later-era Atari Corporation and what their thought process was on products. For example, why did the CD drive for the ST never come out in any numbers? Why was development of the ST to the STe so slow? Why did it seem like there was often such a chronic shortage of machines? I am sure the Atari: Business is War will have a lot of good information in it.

I feel weird because it seems like everyone is loving it and... I didn't. I am going to withhold final judgement until I see it again but I felt like there was very little in the way of a plot and there were far too many cheesy jokes. That said, if I saw this as a kid? I probably would have loved it. I might be taking it too seriously nowadays. But I will watch it again. I actually liked Rogue One more the first time I saw it and then had a lot of nit picky complaints upon a second viewing.
