    Unfamiliarity with a game <> being bad at a game. Besides, cheats are not allowed in these Squad Challenges. My previous post & re-sharing the video from No Swear Gamer would have been flagged, if that were the case.

    My timing is way off with the crocodiles. It's either been jumping right in a crocodile's mouth or missing them completely & sinking in the swamp!

    I understand your feelings and viewpoint. However, such strategy guides and hints were published about 40 years ago. I recall one magazine which detailed how to complete Raiders of the Lost Ark for the 2600.

      I ended taking a break from these videos along with the Rewind videos from episodes past. I'll likely upload the Roundup videos on either Fridays or Saturdays as it seems to align better with the tournaments & challenges.

    New PB: 109964. I got 31 of the 32 treasures before I saw that I would run out of time, so I jumped into the crocodile's mouth hahahaha 😂

    Yes, that's the other advantage to running left: You won't be surprised by rolling logs.

    42994. I played on OpenEmu which uses the Stella core. I haven't played this game in a few decades. I don't recall the patterns (there's more than one; I recall a pattern from a magazine in which you go underground on the first screen...maybe I'll look for it on the Internet Archive) so I mostly stayed above ground. I nicked my foot on my last life. I blame the wine lol. I may give this another go before the deadline.

    I also experienced control issues playing this on Antstream. Mind you, I was never good at this game, but I don't need bad controls to make me even worse!

    I've decided to tinker with my Tournament Roundup video schedule, in part because I fell ill a few days ago and in part because of the schedule of various tournaments and challenges.

     

    So my plan is to create & upload a new Tournament Roundup video later today with the aim of a Friday schedule.

     

    I've also decided to sprinkle my "Rewind" clips, at least for the time being.

    I don't believe there's a way to determine that on Antstream, is there? I mean, outside of familiarity: Xevious is the orignal ROM, for example.

    Thank you, @Justin, for the very kind words. Having never played this particular version prior to this challenge, I came away very impressed as this version is faithful to the original. I used to have a Mac OS version of MAME but I do not have one currently. So I'm likely out for the next Squad Challenge unless I can find a web version of whatever game will be selected, or if it's on Antstream Arcade (and if that's accepted here).

    I did OK lol. There's quite a bit of timing involved with the various levels, especially the cage level since there are birds flight East-West while the snappers are going North-South.
