Control Issues got a reaction from sramirez2008 in Your Desktop / Favorite wallpapers etc.
This is a pic I took a while back. I liked it enough that it became my background on my home computer and has been ever since I took it.

Control Issues got a reaction from RickR in My Stuff...
Been a while since I posted anything in here... we've moved, so the game "room" setup is different. Need to put out a new video. Anywho, here's some pics from some recent pickups... A "rare" Activision game, Cosmic Commuter. My first boxed 2600 game, Kaboom! (I already had a loose copy of Kaboom, but now I have one in the box, too.) And a couple of more common titles that I didn't have. Back in the day, I had a real, honest to goodness photo-taken-of-the-TV-and-sent-to-Activision patch for River Raid. I'm nowhere near as good at it now.

Control Issues reacted to Rocker67 in Hello from an Atari Fan in Texas
Talking about the big freeze. We lost power for 30 hours straight just East of Dallas. The temperature before the power came back on just dipped below 40 degrees in the house. MY house was built in the 70's and we replaced the original windows a few years ago, so that helped. Also had hot food to eat thankfully, but it sure felt weird outside in the snow grilling hamburgers and other items, but it was worth it.

Hey there from a fellow Texan! (I also had a Pong unit... well... clone I think... back in the day, but it's loong gone.) Hope you were okay during the big freeze!

Mine's not too exciting... a laptop. I have built my own desktops in the past, but for a while now I've been a laptop guy.
It's a Dell G5 5590
Intel Core i7-9750H CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHz
16.0 GB Ram
256GB SSD and 1TB HDD (also have a 1TB external HDD I took out of an old laptop)
It's done better than I thought it would. Runs Cyberpunk with only the problems the game comes with. lol
Pics are of the laptop and my background image (photo by me) and the desk environment. (I cleaned it a little to take this pic, but it's always a mess of wires.)

Control Issues got a reaction from TrekMD in Memorable T.V. show themes we love
I used to watch Automan and still remember his car and how it would take 90 degree turns at speed and throw the detective guy against the window. I kinda "made" the car in one of the Forza games...

Control Issues got a reaction from Justin in What happened to America's electronics stores?
I've been seeing more and more about this recently, but it's been going on for a while. I remember getting just about everything for my first home built computer there around the year 2000. But I also remember seeing a video where a guy was going to see if he could buy everything he needed to build a computer there recently and he couldn't. It's like he had a choice of cases, but none of the motherboards they had in stock would fit or he could find a few pieces that would go together, but then couldn't find the right power supply. Pretty sad. There's one not too far from me, but I haven't been in over a decade probably.

Control Issues got a reaction from HDN in What's a great retro game that you only recently discovered?
I just played Arcana for the SNES for the first time yesterday. Not sure how great it is just yet, but I played for around 30 min and really liked it. It's a first person dungeon crawler type game, like AD&D Eye of the Beholder but a little less complicated. But the real draw for me is that it has an automap feature for the dungeons! No graph paper needed!
