  1. Yes, I used new batteries but it was having some difficulty. I just cleaned it out a bit which worked!
  2. I've moved around so many times there's a lot of boxes in the garage that haven't been touched since I moved into this house 5 years ago. While going through one of them I came across this Game Boy I didn't even remember having. It was in a black velcro case with a few cords, a few instruction manuals inside including Wheel of Fortune, an NBA game, and a couple other sports games. My grandparents, who have since passed, loved going to garage sales which is where the Game Boy came from. It doesn't seem to work any longer but it's still cool to have. Got it to work, it just needed a little help 🙂
  3. They made the 2600 adapter for the 5200, so they were going to do the same for the 7800. I don't think they wanted 5200 owners to feel left out when the system was canceled so soon! 😣
  4. I did a little more research and here is what I found: A May 22, 1984 article by David E. Sanger of the New York Times entitled "Atari Video Game Unit Introduced" (P.3 Section D) states: I guess that’s the answer, no matter what happened with Warner and the Tramiels, Atari was killing off the 5200. It’s crazy to think a game system could come and go in 18 months!
  5. Look at his ear blowing in the wind 😭🥰
  6. Here's the playable demo ⬇️ robotron_20200516_demo1_NTSC.bin
  7. Have you guys seen this? Champ Games is showing off another amazing arcade port for Atari 2600. They made Robotron: 2084 for the 2600, it looks really nice and flicker free! Check it out:
  8. Before the Tramiels showed up, does anybody know what Warner Communications Atari was going to do with the 5200 in 1984 after the 7800 would've come out? Were they going to keep developing games? They were going to release a 7800 cartridge adapter so 5200 players could upgrade. It's crazy to think that the 5200 died 18 months after it came out. I'm wondering what other plans they had?
  9. 2014! That is a long time! I'm glad you are still here 😊
  10. Here is my score so far. I played using paddle controllers. It seems like I go a while on the first ball, and then once I lose a ball I go through them really quickly! You guys have really good scores!
  11. Here’s my score. This game was really hard for me! This was the best I could do. 😨
  12. @BlackCatz40 I had no clue Culvers does that and I go there all the time! I'm glad you told me!
  13. I agree. I remember when the Game Boy Advance SP was the coolest thing. I had the regular Game Boy Advance, it was no where as cool and I remember the screen was not back lit so seeing it was difficult. I bought a Switch around Christmas and I love it. It feels like a more modern DS minus the double screen mixed with the Wii. I prefer playing it connected to the tv but I love that it is portable also. Not long ago I discovered two Nintendo downloads that include NES and Super NES games. Although it's not the same as playing them on the original consoles, they've been fun and I've discovered some I've never heard of.
  14. I thought this would be a nice topic for a conversation starter 😊 I have a long haired dachshund named Sally who is 7. She is very shy yet super protective. She loves going for car rides, boat rides, and getting occasional Puppacinos from Starbucks (whipped cream in a small cup). 🙂 Sally is so sweet and I don't know what I would do without her! If you have pets, share their pics and a little about them below!
  15. I agree, you wait in line forever and it goes by so quickly! I remember last time I went to HS and rode it (I had a fast pass) I wanted to go on again and ended up getting in the regular line right away and waited 2 hours or something. Last time I went on a Disney trip I wanted to go on nearly everything (I have yet to go on Tower of Terror as I am scared of drop rides lol) and waited in line for maybe an hour for the Barnstormer which lasted like 20 seconds. I remember it used to be longer but they shortened it to make room for another Dumbo ride. That one looks so fun! One day I would love to go to Disneyland. There's a lot of rides there I would love to go on. I'd really like to go back to Disney in Orlando, I haven't been since early 2017 which is too long for me 😅 I would like to get one of the annual passes, I live just over 3 hours or so away and the pass would be beneficial. That's good to know! I agree on Space Mountain here, it is pretty rough and if you watch a video of it with the lights on the track looks quite rickety I've never been to any of those parks, but I've watched "vlogs" before of Knott's and it looks fun. I like roller coasters but the ones with massive drops I am too freaked out to go on! I went on some intense ones at Universal in Orlando and was not only shaking during them but also lost my voice for a day or two after 😆 Yes, I saw that they're building that in Magic Kingdom! Just in the past few years so much has been added.
  16. Hello everyone! 👋🏻 With summer coming up (and that being a popular time for amusement parks) I thought it would be interesting to ask what favorite rollercoaster you guys have! Well, if you do anyway! I love the Aerosmith rollercoaster at Hollywood Studios, I think that would be my favorite. I love Space Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain at Disney as well ☺️ I don’t like heights too much or big drops, so the Disney rides are perfect for me! I went to Busch Gardens a few years ago and everything was too intense for me 😅
  17. WINNER: @Gianna Super Breakout Atari 2600 April 18, 2020 ROUND 1: @Justin ROUND 2: @Gianna ROUND 3: @Gianna Justin and I played Super Breakout last night. We played on Game 6, which has double paddles and 2 cavities w/ extra balls. We had a lot of fun! I really enjoy this game, it's super simple and entertaining at the same time. 🙂
  18. Omg! I thought they'd be like $300! LOL clearly I haven't done much research. Thank you! I might just get one!
  19. Gamestop does have some good cheap games, especially older ones! I found one for my DS once that was $5 and used, and on ebay was going for like $25 used. I would love to get another Wii, I used to love Wii Fit and I have been really wanting to play it lately. I haven't looked much, but from what I saw finding a Wii now is difficult, and they can be very pricey.
  20. I totally agree with you! It's nice coming on here and seeing everyone get along and have fun. I feel like any other website or forum I have gone on that involves some sort of interest people are always arguing with each other and overall the community can be quite unnecessarily mean. I love how everyone on here gets along and is NICE! 😄
  21. I watched a few of your videos, and they were cool and fun to watch! I enjoy watching someone else play games, especially (like I said above) the Monster Truck one as I haven't played that in so long.
  22. I’ll check out your channel once I’m done working (from home!) today. I’m interested in the truck videos and I haven’t played the monster truck game on wii in FOREVER so it’ll be fun to watch. 😌
  23. My fridge is bare except for some family pictures on the side and other miscellaneous things. Off topic, but with Disney being brought up here is a cup I got at Pop Century a few years ago! I was really craving Coke and had to buy the reusable cup in order to get some. It was like $15! 🤯
