I have had Fisher-Price Movie Viewers that had film cartridges you could put into the viewer. They had Mickey's Trailer, Cinderella, and even a film cartridge of the Disney cult classic The Black Hole. I think I still have mine, but haven't seen it in a while. However, some mook may have stolen it, too. I don't know. Thank God for my Atari collection, which is intact.

It is the closest-looking to the arcade version. This is true. I wonder if there will be a Crystal Castles for the A7800? That might be the most definitive version, I would think.

Tapper. Straight up. It's a cool game. I have it for my A2600 Jr. and the Atari 8-bit. It's challenging, too.

I have two stock Lynx systems. A Lynx 1 and 2. I also have a slew of games for them. They are a great addition to my collection.

I see. The LYX file is header-less. I have seen this before, but must have forgotten. Sorry about that. I have seen this converter before on this site. I like studying these things myself. But, I have never converted a file in this manner before. I wish I could help. Sorry about that in advance.

I see. Thanks.

Interesting. I hope it works out for you to get your games converted. The LNX header must be for a physical game, and I assume the LYX header is for emulation. I hope you can do it accurately anyway.

If it's any consolation, I met the late James Doohan once. I was almost 13 years old and I gave him a greeting card. He shook my hand. He was giving autographs at the time at a convention. That was back in 1987. Too bad he eventually passed away. but, he was pretty ill in his old age. RIP, Scotty.

I also have duplicate 2600 and 7800 games I've thought about parting with but not many.
My advice to you: If you have a lot of irreplaceable Atari stuff, keep that as much as you can. You can sell duplicates of games if you wish. But, as an Atari collector, I would keep the rarer stuff in your Atari collection. That may soon become a REAL commodity.

I had heard of video demos for the Atari 5200, but never could find the topics about them.
-
Interesting demo. Very good for an 8-bit console. Thanks for showing.
-
It probably could. I once saw a demo of a clip from "Tron" on a Side3 cartridge. So, video can be streamed on the A8.

Agreed, Justin.

He also played Sikes in "Alien Nation," on TV. Interesting. It's too bad.

I use cable only for Internet. Ever since August 2023, I watch ONLY over-the-air television (and maybe my DVDs at times). Sure it's spotty, and I don't get all of my channels all of the time. But, it's definitely cheaper than cable or satellite TV. I am probably saving over $1,000.00 a year by not getting cable TV. Free is free, meaning no money needs to be spent on the signal. I like free. So, there you have it. Thanks for letting me share.

My top five Atari 7800 games are these:
- Food Fight
- Midnight Mutants
- Alien Brigade
- Kung-Fu Master
- Rampage
These games have a real WOW factor to them, at least for me.

There were other development systems, like Felix and I believe one called Rapier. But, whether or not they were before Alpine I do not know.

I still use VCRs from time-to-time. I also have amassed a huge collection of VHS tapes. It's a blast from the past, so to speak. Fun to watch.

This is true.

I liked the Third Era. Midnight Mutants is a great game, and so is Scrapyard Dog. Bigger games meant greater challenges. Those were definitely big games.
Are you... OLD? You are if you recognize these... (add your own).

I hope so, too. Thanks.
