  1. I use VirtualBox now and then myself. In my case, it runs Windows 7 and Linux on my iMac. It's a good virtualization program (hey, it's free). I like it. :O)
  2. Interesting. It's too bad the computer camps didn't take off. I think it's a great idea. :O)
  3. At least they will work better for you, or they should. Still seems expensive. :)
  4. I also welcome you to the Forum. It's a very friendly place to be. :)
  5. Kung-Fu Master is one that could be considered NES-like because it was also ported to the NES (as Kung-Fu). Alien Brigade is another good one. You could play that game with either the joystick or gun. Both are good examples, to me anyway. The other games mentioned are also great examples.
  6. I would recommend using a microfiber cloth affixed to the credit card. That should do the trick, unless there is something else wrong with the machine.
  7. Agreed. It looks to me like it may be a dirty cartridge. If that doesn't work, then check the chips and motherboard. You might want to clean the cartridge port on the 2600 with alcohol as well. A little bit of rubbing alcohol on a useless credit card with some fabric on it might do the trick. :O)
  8. I have a lot of dreams about protecting my Atari game collection from getting parts of it stolen. I guess I am very conscious of that. Valuable stuff, you know. :O)
  9. They tried McDonald's Pizza here in America in the 1990s. Unfortunately, the pitch bombed. I remember a friend of mine trying it. That was the only time I saw it, around 1991-92. I have Sneak King for the XBOX. But, I can't play it because I don't have an XBOX. I just got it for collector's reasons.
  10. Interesting. Thanks for the tip, RickR. This is a cool tutorial. :O)
  11. That would be interesting. Like a pith helmet or Fedora. Indy wore a Fedora. :O)
  12. Amazing stuff. Interesting how Raptor BASIC and JagStudio can create a game. Seems easy enough, but I can understand it can take a lot to learn it. Thanks for showing. :)
  13. I don't know if it is ready for sale yet. It looks like SainT is searching for third-party retailers at the moment.
  14. This is excellent news, Sabertooth. Thanks for posting. :O)
  15. I thought I heard that when the Jag was being sold, "Earthworm Jim" would have been a Jag title. Of course, we never saw it on the Jag.
  16. Thanks for the information. I appreciate it. :O)
  17. Got another question. Will Xcode for the Mac compile it? Thanks. :O)
  18. Questions: Do you have to build this program? Can it be on the same directory as the tile-map? Also, can this be used for Mac as well as for Windows? Either way, I can use this. Thanks and welcome to the Forum, seeing you are new here. :)
  19. This is an excellent resource. Thanks for the post. :)
  20. I have both the Lynx I and II models. I got them for collector's purposes. I searched high and low for them. It took a while, but I got them and almost the entire retail Lynx game collection over a period of time. It's impressive, at least to me. Thanks for letting me share. :O)
  21. Agreed with that. Or, make an upgrade for the VCS to support VR. But, that might be too expensive.
  22. But, it doesn't look like Atari will make it for the VCS. If only they would invest in a VR helmet for the system, then Atari could release it on there, too.
  23. I see how that can be an issue.
