Ilia was assimilated in a sense, although she no longer "continued to function as a carbon unit" and was replaced entirely by a mechanical being. You can see the root of the idea. V'ger assimilated everything in its path.

Maybe V'Ger created Nomad too.

Yeah, but somewhere between Ilia and The Borg, their cable management got really bad.

 

I remember when you got that Caanoo and the OpenPandora and how exciting that was!

I try to look at things close up and I have to remove my glasses. To look at things far away I have to put them back on. 

I know, right?  It is pretty amazing.  I'm told they remove the cateract and replace your lens with a "permanent contact". 
I still wear glasses too.  But I don't have cateracts.  Yet.  My eyesight isn't terrible.  I can see without glasses.  But I have one eye near, one far-sighted.  They always joke "you'd make an excellent fighter pilot".  One eye on gauges, one out the canopy. 
 

Wow!  I need to go where you went.  I can't see with or without my glasses lol

She is 100% fine everyone.  I appreciate the well wishes.  At the post-op visit, they've deemed her to now have 20/20 vision, which is an amazing upgrade.  She won't need glasses or contacts anymore (except reading glasses). 
As for me, I got very little gaming in since they were so quick that day.  🙂

There are probably a lot of little features like that in the software that we don't know about.  Always fun to learn new things!
But like @Jinroh said, this is a fun and chill place to hang out.  Thank you, @Justin and all who participate. 

Sad to hear that.  Regardless of reasons why some people disliked him he was a unique entertainer and created some of the most annoying catch phrases of all-time.  He was easy to spot in film and sitcoms when he made cameo appearances.  I had a cousin who grew up watching his Playhouse show. 
It's sad to hear he battled cancer.  He was a master of his craft.  He did what no one else did and in some ways kept a bit of nostalgia from past actors in his character. I mean, A suit and tie.  That was something left in the past unless you was a game show host.  
R.I.P. Pee Wee.  You entertained us well.
