I think that's a fruit punch rather than an orange pop. Isn't it just orange flavored Hi-C? I'm pretty sure they'd offer Hi-C as a fruit punch drink, and then orange pop as something else, more carbonated.
You are 100% right. It is a orangy fruit punch, not very carbonated. The sprite one isn't a true orange pop either I believe. I hate the pops at McD's.

It's not my favorite Indy movie, but it's deserves a watch. If you suffered through Crystal Skull, then you certainly deserve to watch Indy's second adventure 🙂
I didn't suffer through it man. In fact, I didn't know about the hate until after I watched it. I thought it was actually pretty good. Not as good as Raiders or Last Crusade, but still a solid movie.

@Gianna McDonald's has always had the worst selection of pop. I hate it. The only Diet one they have is Coke and that just tastes weird there. Good thing it's much cheaper than other places.

It is big, and there's a bunch of shopping areas that extend the mall all around.
There used to be a theater there, and that's where I watched Temple of Doom.
For some unknown reason I have never seen Temple of Doom. I've seen the rest of them and enjoyed them all thoroughly, even Crystal Skull. But for some reason I have never seen Temple of Doom.

I think an even more interesting comparison is Adventure to E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial
Too obvious I thought. E.T.'s a good game, but Adventure is easily superior. Maybe compared to ?

Which one of these games do you enjoy more? Not the better game, but what has brought you more enjoyment over the years. Be sure to elaborate down below if you so desire! Me, I'm 100% Adventure. Zelda is cool for what it did for the industry, but it's too cryptic and confusing for me to enjoy without a guide. Adventure has aged much better in my opinion. But what's your favorite?

Nowadays, I wonder what kind of memories kids today are cultivating. It's all online shopping now.
I obviously can't speak for them. Though I am technically a youth, my childhood is so radically different in some aspects that it is hard to compare. I don't think either of my parents got a smartphone before 2014. I was raised on obsolete media. I didn't even get my own phone until last year and still, it's an iPhone 5. I couldn't get Snapchat or Tiktok on there even if I wanted to (and BELIEVE ME, I don't want to).

Did you know that computers were sold at computer "dealers"? PCs were not something that you can buy off the shelf like today. It was almost like buying a car. I remember helping my church to buy an AST 286 PC in the late 80s. We talked to a salesman and went over the different models and configurations, negotiated, and then placed our order. During the 90s, we saw the rise of mail-order PC manufacturers (Dell, Gateway, etc.) that changed that model.
We still have a few "computer dealers" around here. It's a miracle they are still open.

@Duckie25 I am not Canadian like you are, but my good friend Wingoose is. You will see why we named him that. He's a wild goose that has become sort of our pet over quarantine. As you can see, he's never too far away than when he was last! This is also my I/O profile picture!

It's been 5 days and still no 7800. I don't want to sound rude and complain but I wonder what's going on? I hope the guy isn't having any serious issues in his life.

I was never a Transformers kind of guy, even after I got this on Christmas 2011 from a family friend. But I've kept this "pinball machine" all these years later because it's kind of cool. Obviously, it's not very complex. "Real pinball" is much more sophisticated. But I've always enjoyed it, even though there's no way to mute the 2-second music loop.

I never bought anything at TRU. Well, actually, there was this one time when I was either 3 or 4 years old. I went there with my grandparents and there was this pencil doodle thing with a trak pad that you wrote letters with or something. I loved that thing. It broke when I was maybe 6. Otherwise I have no memories there. I never went to many strictly-you stores when I was a young child.

64 bits. 32 bits. 16 bits. 8 bits. 4 bits, 2 bits, 1 bit, half bit, quarter bit,
THE WRIST GAMES!!!!!
But seriously I've heard nothing but terrible things about Tiger games. I think the only one I've played was Bartman, and that wasn't great. But I love LCD games so much I'm pro-rereleases.

For me, Lucasarts (renamed at the time these were released) will always be the Indiana Jones SNES and Super Star Wars people. Two great childhood games I never got far in. I should play those again.

@socrates63 Just chilling and listening to a podcast. I'm heading out early for a fishing trip tomorrow. Well, early in Harry time that is!
Yeah, but I'm doing good. Just took a Benedryl for my allergies (always terrible at this time of year) so I won't be awake for long, even if I tried!

I think it's just lazy journalism. ET isn't a terrible game, but Atari paid too much for the license, rushed the development cycle, and produced too many carts. It resulted in a financial loss that contributed to a gigantic loss in 1983.
Similar thing with Pac-Man. Who makes more copies of a game than consoles in homes? Truly idiotic.

One of my pet peeves is YouTubers, podcasters and such who complain about games without learning how to play them. I am not saying they need to master the games, but at least take a minute or two to skim the manual.
This was more understandable before internet. I bought several used games without manuals and had no idea what I was doing. (Try playing Swordquest or Raiders of the Lost Ark without one! 😆) But now almost every manual is a 10 second web search away.
Ok, I'll get off of my soapbox now...
I love old Atari manuals. I am so blessed to have my 2600's previous owner save all of this stuff. So fun to read this stuff.

SSSSSSHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
Actually, it's something I've been meaning to do for a while, but your post inspired me to take it off of the back burner. I'll try to have it finished within a week.
Ok then! Let's stay hush-hush about it until it's done! Be sure to post it somewhere! And remember:
SHHHHHHHHHHHH!

But, but, but it's the most horrible video game ever made! It killed the gaming industry! What a bunch on nonsense, right? 😉
I can see how people could say it's horrible... If they hadn't read the manual. Just read it! Not that hard after you do.

@nosweargamer A project you say? Is this a secret project (shhh)?

Orange crush is probably my favorite orange pop. Sometimes I feel like Sunkist. Fanta is kind of in the middle where I never am in the mood for it but it's alright.

Hey, @nosweargamer, do you have rankings of your 7800 games somewhere on this site?
Adventure (2600) vs. Zelda (NES)

Yes actually. I saw this video a while back. I thought I was the only one to make that comparison!
