  1. So, shall we continue the Jaguar+ conversation, or are you going to spam the thread with strange unrelated waffle?
  2. Its, yay or nay And It's, yay or nay Both grammatically correct too, although the first example can be considered to have no context for the reader to understand what *it* is. (You forgot to use a comma and a question mark inside your quotation marks'.) I even missed the coma in the forum thread title too, having instead used a full-stop. I'm not quoting you either, hence the lack of quotation marks, although both examples could be considered correct, depending on the context. I imagine this is also riddled with errors too, but as I'm not five-years-old', I think I'll get over it.
  3. Imagine being a grammar N@$i on a retro console forum. By the way, both are correct. In the context of my question only *one* answer can be chosen. Ergo; yay, or nay?
  4. ATARI asks, "So should we bring the Jaguar back too?" Click the link and let them know:
  5. ATARI states that they love the Jaguar community and want to see even more:
  6. ATARI states that they intend to release new handheld content, and more:
  7. A modern Lynx soultion with cart and s.d support, improved controls, with new and enhanced games. Yay, or Nay?
  8. According to some it is in the possesion of Mike Mika, but I can not confirm that. Jenovi covered it on one of his unreleased videos, stating that it was being finished in 2014, but nothing came of it.
  9. I'm looking forward to the VR support. A Starfox-esque rail-shooter for the Jaguar, with VR support! Take my money.
  10. Big Pemu now supports online gaming. I'm looking forward to playing the co-op mission modes and 32-player battle mlde on Battlesphere Gold. All Jaguar multiplayer games can now be played online.
  11. @Thenewretroshow has some great footage of the game on his show: Last video.
  12. Bitmap Bureau have enhanced the S.N.E.S version to take advantage of more on screen colours. A Jagaur version using the CrY mode would look great.
  13. Should ATARI and B.B.G use the Dynabalster License to release the Jaguar Bomberman game?
  14. If you want support post this on social media so that regular gamers and casuals will actually see it. The Mortal Kombat video had huge support, as did Xeno Crisis and OpenLara, so there's a crowd that isn't being informed about new Jaguar games. The Jaguar community sells itself short. There's multiple ways that Jaguar developers can package games: 1). Physical Jaguar Cart 2). Boxed digital-copy (mini-SD) 3). Multipatform (under BigPEmu, with enhancements for 3D games using BigPEmu's scripting). These can even be packaged with keypad overlays for those that want to use O.G controllers. Games such as Jumping At Shadows, and Hammer Of The Gods, deserve a larger audience.
  15. The VCS800 will likely never be released in Europe. There'll be enough demand for a Jaguar+ system in Europe. Thoughts?
  16. Have Have you thought of approaching ATARI/L.R.G to clear licensing as David Page confirmed that this is possible in his interview with Z.P.H? I only played this game once in a chip-shop and had a blast playing it. I couldn't even remeber the name of it until I saw this post. Great W.I.P.
  17. I think that the P.S mini sold so poorly because P.S gamers tend to move onto the next big thing as they are obssessed with graphics. P.S gamers seem to have little nostalgia when it comes to old systems from my point-of-view. Also, real working P.S consoles are still cheap and abundant too. The P.S had every game we wanted, regardless of wether the game would run well on the Jaguar. I think this is the reason that the Dreamcast is still supported, whereas the PS2 has virtually no indie support. The Jaguar has character, just like all of the pre-P.S systems. For me, a Jaguar+ could come in the form of a Jag cart playing ATARI emulator box with all the features I've mentioned (and any others I have missed). When the Open Lara/Xeno Crisis threads were started they had a massive reponse, so I think that there's certainly interest from outside the scene. If it followed the 2600+' new and enhanced games, then I think this would make a Jaguar+ coveted by retro gamers.
  18. There's a big update coming to the VCS. It will likely include the addition of more ATARI legacy emulators.
  19. If a mini-sd was added, allowing the loading of roms, and a safer way for developers to repackage J.C.D games and sell boxed digital copies of games, would this male such a unit a more attractive proposition?
