  4. Hey RickR - What is the PlusCart?
  5. Here is the profile for SyncTerm - F2 to create the profile from a blank line on the left (Directory) - Kinda like building the address book
  6. All good and glad you not a peek at the atari side of the bbs world.. 90's IBM set up wasn't that procomm or something for the ANSI terminal? Well most people use SyncTerm today as its easy quick and emulates Atascii, Petscii, ANSI, etc. on Mac or Windows..
  7. Hey Guys - not to worry the BBS was not down or crashed.. Might have just been busy as its a single user at a time.. I do have busy messages on each of the BBS's but for some reason the emulators don't alway pick it up... Also, yeah we see about 400 users a month and the user log can be pretty big for 30 days.. You can always use CNTR S or X to break just like the old days on a text file..
  8. Correct or in Atascii, use CNTRL M to emulate the ascii enter key.. But yes, you got it.. Southern Amis BBS has the larger library but you got the idea on Amis XE.. Welcome back!!
  9. Altirra or Atari800MacX have 850 + modem built in.. Really simple to connect to a BBS using BobTerm (you can download at southernamis.com) or any of your favorite term programs, 850 Express.. BobTerm supports higher baud rates.. Here is a video of Altirra Settings and dial out:
  10. On Southern Amis BBS, 24 of the Atari/Atascii animations have been restored.. The best ones from Tim such as Wheel of Jeopardy are just awesome!
  11. The Southern Amis Projects, restores and preserve Atari BBS history. Rebuilding BBS programs for the Atari 8Bit back to ready-to-use reliability. To-date over 10 BBS's from AMIS, FoReM, ESP, AtariLink, Phonem, NightShift, Hutch BBS,NiteLite, Others have been restored under the project. Southern Amis core bbs is Atascii/Atari Only: southernamis.ddns.net port 23 AMIS XE amis86.ddns.net port 9000 for Atascii and Ascii users Nitelite BBS nitelite.ddns.net port 9000 How to connect from real hardware, emulator or sync term can be found on southernamis.com
