We just watched "Cause and Effect" last night.  It's a Star Trek version of "Groundhog Day".  Really well done.

My wife and I recently finished the series. I didn't keep a list of favorite episodes, but generally speaking I enjoyed anything with the Borg or Q. I also thought the the finale was extremely well done, as was The Inner Light.
My wife might include the episode where Yar dies, simply because she was happy to see her go.  😄 (Funny story: I once bought a Star Trek comic book at a yards sale, and a autographed picture from the actress who plays here was inside 😲)
As for the worse, some of the early episodes were rough, but so were some of the last. I guess they were running out of ideas. One that stuck out was Journey's End, which brought Wesley back and ended up being my least favorite episode with him (and honestly, I didn't mind him as much as some do)

I also used an emulator.  I chose one called "bsnes" and it works very nicely.

I stink at this game, but I'll tell you what...the soundtrack is incredible.  It sounds a lot like the background music you used to hear at EPCOT.  That's what it reminds me of.

I believe I made it to 47,000 points...Stage 6.  I played the heck out of this game when it first came out and then some other game came along and this one sort of became forgot about.  I don't remember half of what I've seen in this game.  I'm going to have to do a few practice runs I guess.

We just watched “The Wounded”  from Season 4 tonight. This was the episode that introduced the Cardassians and laid the groundwork for DS9. It placed Miles O’Brien front and center pursued a rogue Federation ship with a rogue captain that O’Brien had once served under. What a good episode.

I took Spanish in high school, and it has been useful.  But I must admit, I was just being lazy.  I grew up in a home that spoke Italian, so Spanish was a breeze.
You're right about the tape drives for the 8-bits being flaky due to old worn belts.  Stay away from the old 410.  But if you find an XE version (I think the number is 1010?), you may have better luck.  Not as many belts in that one.  I have one that works perfectly.

I wanted to ask if anyone here has experience doing Super Nintendo emulation on a Windows PC.  I have the cartridge, and there is a SNES in my attic, but it's probably faster for me to set up an emulator.

While doing some grocery shopping in our Wal-Mart that is currently in the midst of a remodel I stumbled across this:

I also think the electronics section is doing away with the My Arcade and Tiny Arcade stuff...those were on clearance as well.  I didn't get those though but for $4 I couldn't pass up Spy Hunter.
Spy Hunter was not one of my favorites.  I like the game, it's a fun game, and I have it for the NES, but there were other games I liked better if that makes sense.  With that being said this one is faithful to the arcade but the controls are a bit unresponsive.  It's hard to figure out how to get the car to accelerate.  I couldn't figure it out.  Maybe more time spent with it and I'll discover it.  Otherwise the game looks really good with a bright, clear picture and the music in the game never gets boring.  My first Arcade Classics mini arcade from Basic Fun.  So far...I like the My Arcade Micro Players a bit better.  Still...this one is cool and the artwork is really nice.

I watched Tapestry with my wife and son last night!  You're right, it's a really good episode.

We've been watching a few episodes of TNG each week (at their request!) and they've left it to me to pick out "the good ones".

Pac-Man is ported to so many systems. This Jakks pacific plug and play from 2007 is an excellent arcade port and includes other great Namco titles.

Okay guys this is the score to beat. I beat Star Fox tonight and I did it on one life. I haven't played Star Fox in a few years, I don't consider myself a "Star Fox master" but I was in the mood to play this game and it's been a lot of fun. I've really enjoyed the past few Squad Challenges we've done. I hope you have too!
    My Final Score: 55,700
At the end it also gave me an average score of 92%

    Nice list, @Justin
Yesterday's Enterprise is excellent  and a great choice for the top spot! Best of Both Worlds would be on my list too. I've always enjoyed Déjà Q, the Pegasus and Conspiracy.

There's a lot of "Skip List" in the TNG library for me.  The entirety of season 1 IMO.  Luckily, the show got much better in season 2 and on!

I've got no complaints with your lists.  I really like the episode "Darmok" and would promote that one to full "Must Watch" status.  "Chain of Command" was a 2 part-er, wasn't it?  So take those two off, add Darmok and "Parallels".  I guess it's hard to pare it down to only 5!

There's a lot that TNG did really well.  But there are some aspects of the show that I disliked.  The Romulans, for example.  Why do they have the forehead piece? Shouldn't they look like Vulcans?  What's a Vulcan without an eyebrow raise?  And those giant shoulder pads and unflattering hair-do's -- WTFeklar!  Remember the Romulan Commander from TOS "The Enterprise Incident"?  That's the look they should have gone with.  "Star Trek: Picard" fixed the Romulans for the better IMO.

Let's get started with a score! This was my first attempt and I'm pretty happy with how it went, I got all the way to Venom but that last boss handed it to me.
    My High Score: 47,100

Your score is displayed at the end of each round. You'll want to take a photo of your score before you begin the next leg of your journey because a final score is not displayed at the end of the game when you lose your last life.
