  1. I don't know if any score based games had a "kill screen" mechanic before it, but it has to be the first game where the goal was to complete it rather than get a high score. Haunted House was after Adventure I'm pretty sure.
  2. Adventure was the game that made me want a 2600. I had my Intellivision which had some great ones I wouldn't have traded, I just found out that day that one console could never be enough for one man.
  3. http://www.parentherald.com/articles/56378/20160723/stranger-things-season-2-renewal-confirmed-netflix-series-set-several.htm Season 2 Confirmed!
  4. For the truly well off, they could do a Retro Junk POD. "Uhm....honey, why is this in the driveway? Are we moving?"
  5. Really like the look of those handhelds. I guess I'm not familiar with that brand.
  6. Apparently Super Zaxxon cart version is pretty rare! Nice find, glad they're going to a good home!
  7. You just get reeled in immediately with this one. I was hooked from the kids playing D&D (although their rules were...questionable?). They give you enough time to get attached to Will, right before they yank him away. Then your attention is drawn to the mystery kid. She doesn't speak, but you feel sorry for her. You can tell she's in scared, in pain, and/or hiding. Whoever she is, poor Benny hit a spot of bad luck when she wandered into his diner. The show doesn't mess around, and lets you know from episode 1 not to get too attached. I see SOME X-Files, but not from an narrative perspective. In other words, it's not about some agents investigating. The subject matter, definitely. It reminded me of Super 8 initially, and without spoiling too much, started reminding me of Poltergeist quite a bit by Ep2. It would be SO easy for me to hit play on the next episode immediately, but if I get too far ahead I'll have a hard time remembering what happened in each episode. We'll be starting episode 4 tomorrow night! EDIT: I had to also add in a bit about the science teacher. His character was perfect, and I hope he ends up being a go-to for the kids. He reminded me a lot of one of my English teachers in High School.
  8. We watched Episode 1 last night and we were both blown away! The show takes you right back to 1983 and has the feel of something like Super Eight or the Goonies. Winona Ryder and Matthew Modine are the lead actors, but the kids are the stars. Fantastic! Highly Recommended!
  9. https://www.humblebundle.com/2k-games-bundle 2K bundle! Pay 6.50 or so and you get Civ 5, which is an incredibly fun game. I think I'll drop a buck just to see Duke Nukem Forever.
  10. The archiving is amazing. I feel the same way about ROMs. This is a part of history that deserves to be preserved like any other. I'm thankful we live in an age of technology to where we can prevent something from happening like it did with many early films.
  11. Updated my INTV want list. I need to get a current picture or list of my trade stock.
  12. Oh heck yes! Nice additions to my collection thanks to Mr. Blazer of Balls. Thanks so much, man. I owe you one! Al thinks he wants a piece of me on Tennis. Also pictured is a factory sealed Desert Falcon for Atari 2600 I snagged on eBay.
  13. Pretty dang cool that people are still finding these. I wonder how many will get lost to time.
  14. We can arrange the list anyway that is needed for folks to get in! Not a problem.
  15. This series isn't bad. It's more Mario than a true Wizards&Warriors type game, but still pretty cool.
  16. Yeah, get your money back or a game that works man. Sorry!
  17. Thanks jmjustin for another great trade!
  18. It has a decent game selection, wonder why its only 30? If they had an SD card on it, it would be pretty remarkable! There's LOTS of cheap NES clones out there, but they aren't marketed well. If they market these like the Flashbacks (in Dollar Store, Sam's Club, etc) they'll do really well I think.
  19. Loosey Goosey games.... And the INTV III nestled in its loving cover. I have my INTV II with Intellivoice and System Changer packed away at the moment.
