  1. I think you'll enjoy Secret Weapons Over Normandy if you are into WW2 planes. I found it to be fun, but not tedious sim...more action dogfighting.
  2. I've got a recently reviewed copy of Cosmic Commuter I wouldn't mind trading for either a game on my wanted list, or any comparable value NES, SNES, Sega, N64, or GameCube game!

  5. I just found a copy of MAD recently at a garage sale myself, but it wasn't in nearly as good shape as yours. I think it's complete minus some dice, though.
  6. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/King%27s_Quest_(2015_video_game) It lives!
  7. They make Tron games periodically, but the quality isn't the greatest. Tron 2.0 was pretty remarkable, but TronRunner ....not my cup o tea.
  8. My comments from YouTube The Dunjonquest series would be my first pick. The Apshai games were legendary and there hasn't been a game for them since 1985. My next pick would be the Alternate Reality series. Another abandoned, very innovative RPG series. Third would be Ogre Battle. Why that one got abandoned after Tactics Ogre is beyond me. Lastly, there's no excuse for Nintendo to have abandoned Kid Icarus. Such a fun, short lived series.
  9. Rising Storm GOTY edition, free on HumbleBundle https://www.humblebundle.com/store/rising-storm-game-of-the-year-edition
  10. I know the Facebook member you're talking about, and these are pretty cool to be sure. I just decided for me to keep my carts as close to original as is.
  11. Happy Birthday to StormSurge!

  12. This will be my last junk box. I explained more in the poll about why.
  13. This last episode has soured me on Junk Boxes for good. I've heard more complaints about it being too soon than I have seen excitement about it. For the record, I did wait a month and a half before sending this out. The prior box was sent out (not by me) while there was a junk box still circulating, and nothing was said about it being too soon at that time, and it did not affect people's excitement. I said I was going to try to host another after Retropalooza in mid May, and again nobody said "too soon!" Either way, I didn't vote in the poll. It's not my problem anymore.
  14. That Star Castle one is pretty fun
  15. Wow, Coleco is cracking down on the homebrewers!

I wonder how much this has to do with the Coleco Chameleon, and the brand managers believing that "amateur developers" have damaged the Coleco brand?

No doubt that the Coleco brand took a major credibility hit with that fiasco.

It seems it's an issue with the ColecoVision trademark being used for mature games that they are cracking down on so that their record looks good because they are in talks with some larger companies apparently. Makes sense and I am behind Coleco on this.

  16. It is possible! It's not her easiest pattern, but I'll ask her to re-list it on ETSY.
  17. Hope there's a little bit more excitement as this Junk Box keeps going. I have to admit, the lack of response or people even bothering to "like" the post is VERY disheartening.
  18. Scarf gone in 1! Glad it went to a loving home. That GBA game is still factory sealed too Starbuck is next!
  19. June 1981....WOW! Clash of the Titans For Your Eyes Only Stripes Dragonslayer History of the World Pt. 1 Superman II The Great Muppet Caper Cannonball Run And... Raiders of the Lost Ark I can't fathom that much win being released in one month. Listening to the podcast now.
  20. Mom never played a video game in her life. That being said, she understood that we loved them. She would do her research to find out if the arcades were too seedy for her liking, if not she would take us and come back and pick us up later. She would also let us go wild in the mall arcade while her and my grandma shopped.
  21. Yeah, I didn't pay attention to the funds level when he first announced it. I took a peek a couple of days ago and was shocked at how little they had raised. I'm sure he appreciates our help!
  22. Thanks guys. I think it'd be a shame for this not to get made.
  23. I'm sure some of you know he's working on trying to get his documentary "Will Work for Views" released via kickstarter. Well Paul's got five days left and has a LONG way to go towards their goal https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/interestinghuman/will-work-for-views-a-documentary I tossed him a few bones, and I figured some of his fans here might do the same.
