  1. It's been 366 days since my "last chance" order was placed at Atari Age. Happy anniversary!

This sucks and I'm sorry.  It is very frustrating.  I always felt like it would have been nice to know there would be a long wait when ordering, but that wasn't disclosed until after money had changed hands.

I know there is the context of Al's move, the sale of AA to Atari and the unanticipated volume of orders. But I can get Amoeba Jump in under 5 days if I order from the eBay shop. He has done a poor job of communicating and managing expectations. Here is a brief summary of the updates going through my emails:

7/14/23 : 2-3 months to build all orders

8/25/23: Just a note that there were a lot of orders and plea for patience... no delivery estimate

10/17/23: All boxes and materials on hand, more patience please... no delivery estimate

12/8/23: shipping 100-150 orders every two weeks until finished. Patience please... no delivery estimate

4/28/24: I had a year's worth of orders and here are some things I hope to have in place to make this easier in the future... no delivery estimate

To top it off, 3 of the 4 games I ordered were Champ Games titles. Had I known at the time that Champ was going to offer these on cart, I would have made different choices.

"Had I known" is the key phrase.  I totally agree.
