  1. Those two are so close I thought it was Tuvix.
  2. It picked Tilly for me as well, but to be honest I'd rather have this one...
  3. ... now if you want a toy that would make people squirm in this day and age...
  4. How about these self-exploding balls which maimed a few kids before they were banned.

    Voyager 1

Voyager 1 has been sending back garbage for some time now, but they keep trying to fix it. Even though I'm a big space fan, I wonder if it's worth it. Last I heard only one sensor remains switched on due to declining power levels from it's onboard radioactive thermoelectric generator which is expected to be depleted as early as 2025 or as late as 2036 if they are lucky, so the returned science is minimal. It currently takes 22.5 hours for a signal to get to the spacecraft, and 22.5 hours to return... at a power level of less than 1 trillionth of a watt, which requires using nearly every available dish on the planet to receive the signal, so the cost is enormous for value received.
  6. Can someone tell me why I like baseball all of a sudden?
  7. If you have a TI-99/4A, << HERE >> is a little artwork at printables.com for it.
  8. What "real" cowgirls looked like. (colorized)
  9. I dunno, but this "Photobomb" has to be photoshopped. I cannot imagine them testing so close to a road!
  10. I can't get over how small the monitors were that we used, the one in the pictures was 10"... of course we were much younger then and our eyesight much better.
  11. At least you didn't get a minivan, that would really show your age.
  12. I ripped this image out of the recent Chicago TI Computer Club newsletter and colorized it for a little nostalgia. Time flies, so it's hard to believe it's been over 40 years since we saw images like this in stores all over these United States...
  13. I remember Lynda Carter from the TV series, but to me she was too soft and squishy in all the right places and never seemed the athletic type to me. Even though I grew up in the other era, I prefer Gal Gadot as she seem "more the type" and quite frankly her angelic face knocks me out.
