I ripped this image out of the recent Chicago TI Computer Club newsletter and colorized it for a little nostalgia. Time flies, so it's hard to believe it's been over 40 years since we saw images like this in stores all over these United States...

It depends, what was the picture? 😉

I remember Lynda Carter from the TV series, but to me she was too soft and squishy in all the right places and never seemed the athletic type to me. Even though I grew up in the other era, I prefer Gal Gadot as she seem "more the type" and quite frankly her angelic face knocks me out.

Are you... old? If you can guess these album covers, you might be!

Well he did get the band right, but the wrong album. Still, he did good because Iron Butterfly was not exactly a mainline group. -

Wow, I didn't expect anyone to get it so fast. Oh, and that video you posted... HILARIOUS! I'm still laughing! -
This one is a little bit hard to find now days, but if you like stories of the little guy, the nerdy or geeky type coming out on top, this book may be for you. It's was originally published in 1968 and I first read it in 1974, but it is still a good read.

While I personally am not a Pacman fan, I found something that may be of interest to some of you... a Ms. Pacman board game. It's a 3D printed board and it looks like this... ... if this interests you, it's available <<HERE>> at the printables website for free.

I read in the news today that some people who've have had their "Cybertrucks" for less than two weeks are already developing rust issues. I guess the so-called stainless steel truck has very little chromium content in it's steel. Now if that can happen in California after only two days of rain, what would happen in other places where it rains more? I can envision a lot of time, effort and money devoted to maintenance, either that or many $80,000 "Cybertrucks" will look like they've been sitting in a farmers field since the 1950's.

I think I've seen that one before.

I kept my landline until 2022 and probably never had a personal call on it since 2015. About the only time it ever rang was solicitors, politicians, or someone begging for money for the firemen, police or some other dubious outfit. Now I'm strictly cell phone. Heck, even the BBS I call (Heatwave) is via the Internet or the telnet APP on my cell phone. As times changed over the decades, and magazines going the way of the Dodo bird, about the only solicitation calls that didn't increase in frequency were the magazines.
