  1. This is so cool. I was just happy to figure out how to add other NES games to my Classic. This is otherwordly.
  2. I'm writing more blog posts in my brain. Hopefully some (relatively) entertaining stuff on the way.

I love what you're doing with your blog @StormSurge, looking forward to whatever's next!

  3. Kid A is James Holzhauer & we're all regular Jeopardy contestants.
  4. Hi my score was so pathetic I didn’t even bother submitting. #Rusty KidA is a machine!!
  5. Awesome! I'm glad you enjoyed it Rick! The sequel was pushed back to August, so I think I'm going to give this another spin before that happens.
  6. It’s here! Almost time to show off the scaled-down Storm Man Cave!
  7. I can’t get past the first level. I’m having a difficult time with accuracy. I’ll miss & not being able to fire again until my first shot clears the board is killing me. 😔😔 (Playing on an original 4 switch)
  8. First attempt. 81 lines, 42,350 Played on modded NES Classic.
  9. Can’t wait to jump into the Pizza Party high score challenges! Great choices!

THANKS @StormSurge!! Thrilled to have you participating!! :wreck-it-ralph:

  10. Has anyone else ever done Couch to 5K? The jump from Week 3 to Week 4 is brutal! (I did this a couple of years ago but I forgot about this.)

No, but sounds interesting.  My metabolism has really slowed down at age 50. I've been exercising more and more, and that really helps to feel good and healthy for me.

It definitely works & as long as my knees hold up and I can continue to the end, it's a great way to fend off the creeping waistline.

I'll check that out.  I really like riding a bike, so that's what I've been doing.  Weights and stationary bike every weekday morning, then a real bike when time and weather permit.

  11. They key to unlocking those achievements (especially in Fallout, like max Good, Neutral & Evil) is to save right before earning one, unlock the achievement, reload the previous save, rinse repeat. TrueAcheivements.com is a fantastic resource. I’m glad you enjoyed the game so much!!
  12. I also am unable to play a game with a mouse & keyboard. Going back to the Doom, Dark Forces & Heretic days, I needed a joystick.
  13. This is one of my all-time favorite games. I’m looking forward to another play through & reading your thoughts. Enjoy!!
  14. I don’t have CBS All Access, but I’m interested. I haven’t checked out the free episode on YT yet, but I’m planning on it.
  15. THIIIIIIIS close to my first "real" fire call. Reported vehicle fire. It was out when we arrived (which was quickly!). It was a smoking battery. So close!!

I thought there might be a few hoops to jump through first but I'd love to get a glimpse into that world

"Ain't nobody got time for 'dat!"

Interesting aside -- the other day I drove my mom to Costco for a hearing aid repair.  There was a car at her exit with smoke coming out from the hood.  The driver was getting a fire extinguisher from the back.

On the return trip...a completely burned shell of a car!  OH NO!  Poor guy.  It was a pretty new car too...a small Chevy.

  16. Pretty much all of my online experiences have been positive when it comes to gaming. It started with SOCOM 2 on the PS2 in 2003/04. Some buddies from my former place of employment & fantasy football league mates told me about how they play SOCOM online & how much fun it is. It WAS fun & is probably the pinnacle of my gaming experience (future blog post???). We've been chasing that "SOCOM" feeling ever since & is the main reason why I love PUBG so much. The core group of guys I play with online daily now are from this group. (Plus another friend I've know for 31 years now). In addition to hanging out with my IRL friends, I've also met other friends on different forums that I've played online with. I have a friend in Scotland, one in Seattle, Detroit & a few other places. We don't play that often, but I consider them true friends & we communicate via social media & text often. Because I keep my communications settings on XBL locked down (only friends can send me messages), I don't receive any messages from trolls, so my experience has been nothing but positive. (Thanks Microsoft!) My XBL gamertag is StormSurge. I'm not sure what my Switch friends code is, but I'll look it up (although you'll rarely find me there). Add me on XBL!
  17. Now that I'm a GamePass subscriber, guess what game I just downloaded?
