chas10e got a reaction from Justin in How to earn the new Atari I/O Member Badges?
I figgered I'd react to your award for reacting well.
I also noted we had been here over six years ...
I like the new badges

chas10e got a reaction from DegasElite in Price Tag Thread
what a great thread idea .... just the first couple I thought might have old price tags
Kay-Bee Toys in the mall was a favorite of mine when I was younger .... I wasn't buying Atari games at the time though ... wished I did
I never heard of "Gold Circle" but looks like they had some good prices

Found at my local flea market here in the Bay Area, CA
I also believe the label under it says “Jungle Hunt”

chas10e got a reaction from Sabertooth in I have a atari 2600 and I've bought 4 boxes that will not bring me closer to playing it
The RCA to coax adapter is definatly the way to go,
If on a modern flat screen TV, you will need it to have a coax input and with the console powered on you may have to do an analog-channel search
The console may or may not have a channel select switch (2 or 3)
if TV has no coax input an old VCR may be needed
There are composite modification kits available to make the 2600 work on more modern TV's https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l1313&_nkw=atari+2600+mod&_sacat=0&LH_TitleDesc=0&_odkw=atari+kiosk&_osacat=0
Keep us posted on your progress 😉

D'oh! I thought this ended tonight. I didn't get to spend much time with this one. Maybe broke 10k. The PS2 d pad is not good for this game! LOL I did discover some great games on the Activision Anthology though. Amazing scores guys!!

I think I was better off not knowing what a pain they were when I first played, now when I see 'em I stress-out 😬
Yeah I dunno about this "modern stuff" ... I think I'm getting closer to just start screaming "GET OFF MY LAWN" .... but I don't have to much of a lawn so ....
