  1. Man that stinks. Maybe someone will trade you for it so you don't loose out on it.
  2. Some carts have both formats on them. Not sure if a modern tv really cares about the format
  3. I have to say that Pat is way more forgiving than I am. But I guess for the good of the community, maybe it's best to just move on. Mike Kennedy, however, is forever a person that I hope I never have to deal with ever. I wouldn't even give him change for a dollar.
  4. The saga continues, Pat is not going to leave it
  5. I totally agree with delorean on gamester, a so off for sure. I unfollowed him over this crap. Hope others do the same, but I'm not calling others to do it. It would take an apology on YouTube to make me change my mind. I doubt that he would. My new interest is how MK is going to react to the Coleco deadline. My guess is he will claim that it was damaged in shipping after the toyshow, and will end up not providing anything to them.
  6. John Lester is taking a page from Mike Kennedy and is starting to delete everything involved with this, I wish that he would be a bit more honest as to what was his involvement. If he was just being a mouthpiece or got paid for his actions. But to act like nothing happened is a bit childish. But then again here comes the pitchforks and torches....
  7. Absolutely rediculous, I feel bad about so many people getting the wool pulled over their eyes with this ponsy scheme that Mike Kennedy drummed up. I mean seriously, a lot of people that were being used in this name dropping thing that Mike was playing. Like some sort of playground game, "hey we are going to ditch class, Jeff, Pat and Keith are going too, meet behind the gym at The bell." But it ends up that only 2 people show up just you and Mike and when you ask where everyone else is, he tells you that they're around the corner, another lie. I just hope actual money wasn't taken from people, and if so, maybe they can get it back. The pitch forks and torches are out in full force now.
  8. Just saw a touch me up on goodwill! For your viewing pleasure. http://www.shopgoodwill.com/auctions/Vintage-Atari-Touch-Me-Arcade-Game---WORKS-27206416.html

    Crystal Pepsi

I actually did a blind taste test as part of my school science fair. Hardly anyone can properly tell the difference between regular and crystal. I think that it was a psychological issue that turned people off. I tried to really get to the main difference besides the color. I think that it was the artificial coloring gave a slightly softer taste. They didn't like my prodggect and my teacher gave me a b on it.
  10. I hate kotaku. They're worse than what you find at mos islie
  11. I played it once at a friend's house. Unfortunately it was his older brother's system and he came home and got mad that we were playing with his stuff. I remember him opening the jewel case and that chip in there. I was expecting to be a CD in there.
  12. I find it fascinating the tricks that he was a free lance programmer like that. If only the market didn't drop off when he was just about to hit the big time. But, it's awesome how he had a hand in modern game development. Did they clear up the deal with Namco for rally x?
  13. I agree Leo, this sounds like just a new system and won't have any real retro in it. Meaning if you want to play Colecovision games, you have to buy their collectors edition that they will put out. I think I'm going to get me an emulator machine that are like $5 and just run some roms on it. I need to read up on raspberry pi.
  14. Maybe the organization should just use this one they could even ask Jarjar Abreams to promote it since he liked the music so much he used it in the first Star Trek and the upcoming movie as well.
  15. Not sure what song should be their theme song...
  16. I seen some reviews of the changes already, and many are not happy about it. They ditched the 9pin controller ports for USB ports, can you find adaptators, yes, but that ruins the nostalgia a bit. They have this WIIU clone controller with it, um how is that retro? now the name, when I think Coleco and video games, I think of colecovision, so they better be able to play those games. Otherwise the cabbage patch kids will rise from the dump and we will have an apocalypse that would make the gremlins look like the smurfs. Seriously, this thing needs to knock it out of the park at the New York toy show, or these clowns need to change their name to Buffalo Bob and Clarabell. This is quickly moving to the snake oil vaporware. If I'm out of line, I am sorry.
  17. They need to just give up on this. Unless it's something that can play intellivision, Atari 2600, 5200, 7800, and colecovision I'm not interested. They can't get new programmers to develop what the RetroVGS, it's all but dead in my opinion.
  18. My sister had a intellivision 2 or 3. Not sure, but I remember that it was brown. It had the voice module also.
  19. Was there a difference between them, other than the physical appearance?
  20. By the way you got to be ready for the picture, the game clears out after a minute or so. I had to do my run again.
