AlamoAtari got a reaction from Jop in What are the real facts behind Pac-Man’s 2600 development?
Whoever thought of that crap needs a summary execution. I know several people who had to suffer from having to play on a black and white tv. I think that someone thought oh it's a great way to sell more tvs, but the pain and suffering.

I was forced as a kid to play my Atari on a black and white tv. My parents fell for the rumors about screen burn. I tried to tell them that it only happened when you play a single game for hours on end. Never got to play in color until the 90s.

AlamoAtari got a reaction from GervGirl in Nolan Bushnell tells the fascinating story behind ShowBiz Pizza Theft of Chuck E. Cheese Concept
Wow, had no idea that was the case, I was just a snotty nose kid who loved show biz and was absolutely gutted when chuck e cheese took over the scene when I was living in St. Louis. But kids don't get whet business is all about. I have to say that today's Chuck e cheese is not as cool as it was back then. The ball pit, where you hang out when your out of tokens and try to find tokens that someone else lost in there.

AlamoAtari got a reaction from Paul in New Jaguar Game - Custodian - by Piko Interactive
I was halfway expecting to see a picture of everyone's favorite pitchman Mike Kennedy holding a mop and bucket. Anyway, I hope that this game does well for them.

AlamoAtari reacted to greenween in Scott Stilphen
Cheers to Scott Stilphen!! I just received 10 Atari 2600 carts from him. They all play and look EXACTLY as he described them. I'm looking forward to buying more from him! Great prices, fast shipping and an all around great guy. Thanks bud!

I do not normally get excited about Hyperkin products but this got my attention. Its basically a power base converter that will also take GG carts. From the facebook post it looks like we have to wait until CES 2017 for more. I'm excited anyway. Haha

AlamoAtari got a reaction from Justin in Which 2600 model are you particularly fond of?
Would it be cheating if I said the best 2600 is the 7800? Not sure if it counts or not, but I've been using my flashback portable a lot. I'm thinking about bringing it with me on my trip in a few weeks. But if I had to choose just the original release stuff, it would be any non 2600 Jr, the 6er is the best. Also, does the coco expansion count as well? They really gave Atari a run for the money on that one.
