  1. Grabbed this one: Thank you for posting this or I would have missed it.
  2. Passes the torch to @TrekMD "GO, DOC GO!!! We got your back! You can do it!!"
  3. I understand he's not the only person working on it. But he did purchase the Intellivision brand at the beginning of the Amico. I don't know if he still owns it now or not. Since the Amico having trouble not coming to "life" I really haven't heard of him since. It's almost like he's disappeared. And while he might not have worked on it personally he was the spokesperson for the system. He knew what was going on. He might have had big plans for the system as far as specs go but I often wonder if it came down to what he was after just really was way beyond what was available at the price point they were going to try to sell the Amico for. I've been out of the loop for a long time and I really haven't kept up with it. I'm not saying the product isn't cool because I thought the styling of the console was really neat. But it's been how long now?? And still nothing. Just a bunch of words and showing of games. I've not seen the hardware in a functioning form and if there is one it's probably the only one. I just don't see the Amico actually doing anything. And if/when it does come out it's already going to be a retro console. I don't have any hopes for it. I also feel that this whole Amico thing has sort of killed the IntelliVision brand name. I have got about 30 INTV games here without a console. I can't even get rid of them for a $1 a game. I'm not sure if that is due to the Amico or not. Most likely not...but that's what it seems like.
  4. Not that it matters but I just got an email from Intellivision. Sounds like more BS to me. There was a time when I had high hopes for the Amico. But I soon realized how much of a bullshitter Tommy was becoming. He was always dancing around questions investors were asking. Never a direct answer about how soon the Amico was to be ready for release. But he would answer questions about what games were coming to it. I do place some of the blame of it failing on the pandemic. With it shutting down damn near the whole world it would have made it difficult to obtain the parts required to make it. But that’s over now. I have lost all interest in it. I’m glad I didn’t invest in it. I’m good with the VCS.
  5. That's it. I'm gently putting the controller down and walking away. Go get 'em @RickR!
  6. I improved my score. 336,895! https://youtu.be/NocI9ElWapk?si=f8THB2ZV87xi-DMD
  7. It is a really neat system. It needs more original games made for it. Not for the 2600, not for the 7800, but for it as it was made to do. Not that I mind seeing 2600 and 7800 games and homebrews on it...I'd just like to see something original and only available on it. I reached out to Atari via email and told them some suggestions. The response I got was they would pass the ideas along.
  8. I'd buy it in print form. I'd love to have something like this to go along side the VCS.
  9. This game was one of two I spent my first paycheck on when I was 16. I never regretted doing it. It’s a very impressive 2600 pinball game.
  10. I found the track I was referring to. I also won a new car! Let’s see what it won. I love how the cars in GT5 are presented. Time to go win more cars!
  11. Today I thought I would dig into Gran Turismo 5 on the PS3. So far I have not seen a track I thought was in the game that had a huge left curve going downhill and under itself. Maybe I dreamed it? Nevertheless I’m enjoying it but a bit sad that I missed out on its online features. My favorite car so far?
  12. I’ve sent out friends requests on the VCS last night. I found ten people so far.
  13. Mine is kamakazi20012. I have the 5200 as my profile picture. See you in the games!
  14. Here’s my score so far. I think I’ve found my favorite VCS game and Recharged game. This one is addictive. 87025 using Modern controller. I may try with the Classic controller.
  15. Oh I'll be joining in on this one! This game really shines on the 2600.
  16. Thank you for the kind words. They are greatly appreciated.
  17. I have to admit that I was skeptical about getting this one but I'm glad I picked it up. I'll be joining in shortly. Filling out applications at the moment.
