  1. I had a blast with this. It allowed me to discover the VCS and some of its offerings.
  2. Congrats to @greenween. That was an awesome score!
  3. I’m not certain about PAL or SECAM versions but for NTSC there are four variants. There are text only, black label with picture, a silver label, and a red label. All of them have the same game. You are right about the P in the model number of the carts. The P stands for PAL versions. I have one cart that is PAL called Secret Quest. I can’t play it because all my TVs are strictly NTSC.
  4. I’ve got to get a different power supply for it. I used my 5200’s power supply to test it out. It was the only supply in the house that would power it.
  5. $40. Cleaned and checked for operation. Works. Has the parallel port but the cover is missing. I accept PayPal.
  6. Cleaned and working. Memory card included. $50. Free shipping to United States territories.
  7. Cleaned and working. $50 shipping included if buyer is within the U.S. Comes with a third-party memory card (not pictured).
  8. Well, I am thinking about starting here on the marketplace first. I’ll go from there.
  9. I don't mind shipping but I'd probably go the USPS Priority route. We lost all of our local UPS pick up locations recently so I don't have that option and there are no FedEx locations here either. I'll have to look. I'm not aware of any in my area.
  10. I love my iPhone but I also wonder sometimes if a landline phone would be cheaper. However since I’m fixing to drive a cab I’ll still need my iPhone. Cellphone services are just so expensive these days.
  11. I'm thinking about parting with the spare consoles and games I have. I know I won't get as much in cash I would in store credit with places like eStarland but I still haven't started my job yet and I'm getting low on funds. I plan to keep one of the older model PlayStation consoles and part with the other 2. As well I plan to part with all of the PSOne consoles. I have two Super NES consoles and I only need one but I only have one power supply that works. My wife's Grape N64 is being traded in already as we never used it. I don't need two of them. I prefer my original model that has the Memory Expansion. I'm thinking about parting with one of the 360 consoles and most of its games as I don't really play it anymore. I'm more of a PlayStation person myself. It takes away the experience for me when Microsoft left the 360 with a troubled operating system. The only issue is that it is an Elite model with a 20 GB hard drive instead of a 120 GB hard drive. That is how I obtained it. It works great. The other issue is that most of my 360 controllers have been well used and are worn out. I have a spare Dreamcast console that works with a controller but I only have one A/V cable. I also have duplicate 2600 and 7800 games I've thought about parting with but not many. The advice I need is how should I go about trying to sell this stuff? I've tried local marketplace posts on Facebook but I'm getting all kinds of offers with people wanting to pay with services I've never heard of except for BitCoin and I know those are not worth anything. I'm open to suggestions. I do have PayPal if I need it.
  12. Since my previous post the Resident Evil games and Dino Crisis for the DC were traded in for a PS3 and some games. I used eStarland and so far have had good luck. I can't believe the amount of credit I received just for those 4 games. What else can I trade in? Oh. I gave the second NES Classic Console to my youngest nephew for his birthday. Now he can play Kirby and stay off mine that's in the box LOL.
  13. Wow! The 2600 is getting to move into the modern times. Very impressive. Now if that could be done on the A8 computers.
  14. I shared the news on my YouTube Channel. I hope you guys don't mind 🙂
  15. Grabbed this one: Thank you for posting this or I would have missed it.
  16. Passes the torch to @TrekMD "GO, DOC GO!!! We got your back! You can do it!!"
  17. I understand he's not the only person working on it. But he did purchase the Intellivision brand at the beginning of the Amico. I don't know if he still owns it now or not. Since the Amico having trouble not coming to "life" I really haven't heard of him since. It's almost like he's disappeared. And while he might not have worked on it personally he was the spokesperson for the system. He knew what was going on. He might have had big plans for the system as far as specs go but I often wonder if it came down to what he was after just really was way beyond what was available at the price point they were going to try to sell the Amico for. I've been out of the loop for a long time and I really haven't kept up with it. I'm not saying the product isn't cool because I thought the styling of the console was really neat. But it's been how long now?? And still nothing. Just a bunch of words and showing of games. I've not seen the hardware in a functioning form and if there is one it's probably the only one. I just don't see the Amico actually doing anything. And if/when it does come out it's already going to be a retro console. I don't have any hopes for it. I also feel that this whole Amico thing has sort of killed the IntelliVision brand name. I have got about 30 INTV games here without a console. I can't even get rid of them for a $1 a game. I'm not sure if that is due to the Amico or not. Most likely not...but that's what it seems like.
  18. Not that it matters but I just got an email from Intellivision. Sounds like more BS to me. There was a time when I had high hopes for the Amico. But I soon realized how much of a bullshitter Tommy was becoming. He was always dancing around questions investors were asking. Never a direct answer about how soon the Amico was to be ready for release. But he would answer questions about what games were coming to it. I do place some of the blame of it failing on the pandemic. With it shutting down damn near the whole world it would have made it difficult to obtain the parts required to make it. But that’s over now. I have lost all interest in it. I’m glad I didn’t invest in it. I’m good with the VCS.
  19. That's it. I'm gently putting the controller down and walking away. Go get 'em @RickR!
