I saw a post from @Cryptocoffee13 about a gamepad controller for the old Atari 7800 units.  With an adapter TI'ers that prefer a gamepad "should" be able to use it as well... right?  I don't know how well they are built, and are currently sold-out at the Atari site << HERE >>.

Anyway, from what I've read in the past, the 7800 joystick is backward compatible with the 2600, but the two buttons will act as one.  I've not heard of anyone actually using a 7800 controller with the 2600 adapter for the TI, so I gotta put it out there, has anyone here ever used a  CX-78 gamepad with their TI-99/4A?

And there's the new version of these gamepads that was just released by Atari.  If they also work, that would be cool.  🙂

I'm going to take a wait and see approach.
