RickR
I have no idea if these are all even made anymore. But imagine it's 1980...you get home from school and are ready to get busy playing some Atari or Intellivision, but need a snack first.

Justin
I have the best memories of being about four years old, on vacation with my family at Walt Disney World, staying in a cheap little Knights Inn motel and walking with my dad across the street to the convenience store to get drinks and snacks for our Saturday night TV movie that was coming on. Ding Dongs were among those snacks. My favorite treat at that time though we're Reese's Peanut Butter Cups

AlamoAtari
There was a hostess bakery in St. Louis where I grew up. We went on a tour there with my school. They told us not to eat the Twinkies that were on the line at the time because we would get sick. I know better now, they didn't want us to contaminate the line. But the end of the tour, they let us eat as much as we wanted. And we each got a Twinkie the Kid ring.
Rowsdower70
Ho-Hos are quite possibly the perfect snackie cake. Sometimes when I want something a little less frosted....I'd have a Suzy-Q.
